But 1Xtra doesn't have that much affect does it? :unsure: I was thinking Lemar would be a top 10 dead cert, however now it's looking likely to do a Erik Hassle and struggle for the top 40! :( I haven't seen the video on Music channels yet either! I thought radio 1 were pretty big on Lemar.

Then again, this is Radio 1 so it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Have Lemar and Gabriella been playlisted on Radio 2?

Not as good as some of the songs from her debut, but certainly not that bad. Let's face it, Radio 1 is ignoring her because they have her down as a "Radio 2 artist", nothing to do with the quality of the song. :heehee: Does anyone know if they playlisted any of the singles from her first album?

February 10, 201016 yr Laura Marling's been playlisted? Quite surprised at that, I never thought of her as a Radio 1 artist. Also, great to see local boys General Fiasco get promoted to the C List. The rest of the list is pretty meh though.
February 10, 201016 yr I've youtubed 'Gramophonedzie', it's not my cup of tea. :( I don't like such genre mash-ups. Is McLean British? The song has so generic americanish R&B sound, but it's a modern trend ))) Not a bad song I must admit. Maybe one day it'll click on me. Paloma's 'Upside Down' is quite good. ^_^
