HOTSHOT!

New feature, trying it out :D I will post something that could be huge in the next couple of weeks. This week, its the turn of Plan B who is back with the follow up to Stay Too Long. She Said stands a pretty good chance of being #1 in 2 weeks!

Amazing song. Probably my favourite thing from Plan B next to "End Credits" :)

oh come on, we all know GaGa is #1...by the end of thursday was behind only by 600 copies...Friday and Saturday were enough to outsell Tinie about 5k-10k.

I don't think it's really a battle - however I'm not gonna say who I'm certain is #1!

Plan B's song is brilliant, I really hope he can get to #1 with it, or at the very least get a third top ten hit. I'd also like him to go top 10 with this album.

Anyhow, hello, hola, bonjour. How's everyone on this fine day? I shall be doing recaps again, posted in my new style ;o

Edited by BrayFish Derülo

I think it's great the males have dominated so far with Owl City, Iyaz, Derulo and Tempah all getting #1 and acts like Plan B, Example, Bieber, Jay Sean, Jay-Z, Dizzee, 3oh!3 and Buble all getting chart success whereas this time last year it was all about GaGa, Lily, Kelly, Beyonce, Swift, The Saturdays, La Roux etc

I'm sure the females will take over soon though with Telephone being released, Diana Vickers debuting, Avril returning and Leona/Saturdays/Cheryl all continuing to release stuff.

HOTSHOT!

Some exclusive info just tweeted by Paloma Faith, her album is at No.19.

I'm not bothered what gender the acts doing well are as long as they're making great music. The music industry has always been traditionally male dominated anyway so it's the periods of female dominance that are technically rarer, it's just that a lot of female superstars have emerged/continued having success in the last few years - Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Beyonce etc...and the media love them, so it feels very female dominated sometimes even though this, in the album chart certainly, really isn't the case.

Geri halliwell beating Blink-182 to the top in 2000, is just laughable!

has to be one of the biggest injustices in chart history

Okay, if Telephone isn't #1, I'm gonna actually go crazy. F**king Liverpool. -_-

 Stressy Rob!

I can't believe the hate for "Bag It Up"! It was one of my favorite songs from her "Scizophonic" album - yes I can spell it of by heart
