Take That look like they'll rocket to no. 1 - bringing the release date forward is a clever move on their record companies behalf (which makes a nice change :kink: ). Then again, 'The Flood' is a much stronger track than 'Shame' so it deserves to be the bigger selling single.

I'm unsure if Take That or JLS will be no. 1 next week - could go either way, and Westlife haven't got a chance even with TXF boost - they're just not as popular as they once were (thankfully  ). Take That and JLS should sell over 100k each with Westlife getting about 80k. It could be an all boyband top 3. Would be great though if Rihanna was still selling strong enough to break up the top 3 and have Westlife #4 instead. ^_^

I think that Perfect Day by SuBo might enter the Top.40 (her albums out tomorrow) as it's being shown tonight on ITV after a repeat of Harry Hill and maybe after the Piers Morgan interview yesterday. But I can't really imagine anyone buying it on Itunes. Suprised she doesn't have an X Factor slot this year
Really glad Take That are heading for number 1- that song is great and so are they!

I think JLS will best Take That next week- XF performance, charity etc.- although I suppose it depends how much TT sell this week

With the album out next week, considering TT are an album act, this is what I would expect too. But TT's promo is also lined up next week. AND their promo is bigger than that of JLS both may have XF and CIN etc but TT will also have no1 airplay + the documentary... It could really go either way. A such reunion is not something that happens a lot of times so we don't have much evidence to measure with.

Now TT at no2...

Anyone know how well Children In Need singles tend to send?

I think it will be a 50/50 chance on who will get to number 1 next week

Take That and JLS both have Children In Need and X Factor Performances

The difference between them is that it will be JLS first week sales and Love You More being the CIN single vs. Take Thats Second week

Well for CIN singles it goes:

2000 - S Club 7 - Never Had A Dream Come True - #1

2001 - S Club 7 - Have You Ever - #1

2002 - Will Young - Don't Let Me Down/You and I - #2

2003 - Shane Richie - I'm Your Man - #2

2004 - Girls Aloud - I'll Stand By You - #1

2005 - Liberty X - Night To Remember - #6

2006 - Emma Bunton - Downtown - #3

2007 - Spice Girls - Headlines - #11

2008 - McFly - Do Ya/Stay With Me - #18

2009 - Peter Kay's All Star Band - Medley -#1

2010 - JLS - Love You More - #?

Apart from the All Star Band which was a good gimick, they haven't fared very well for popstars since 2004. Take That have a huge balk of promo next week so I think they'll stay #1 - They'll have the album verson of The Flood zooming up Itunes next week as well.

Shayne is doing so much better than I had realised considering the lack of promo or airplay he's been given! :o
Just heard the 30 second preview of 2:07 minute silence :kink: And there is SOUND in it! :o

He's doing OK - but stuck at the moment. How much better would he do though if he released a song that actually got some radio airplay. How on earth can he compete with songs that are heard every hour on Radio One, Capital etc. Roll on the X Factor appearance...

McFly have only performed on Paul O Grady. Their promo hasn't really kicked started yet. They've got Children in Need/ Loose Women etc. yet. I wonder if it will hold up for the week.
I wouldn't be surprised if Take That sell 150k plus tbh, they might even beat JLS next week to get 2 weeks at the top :o
Didn't realise Inna's De Ja Vu was out this week

It isn't... it's out next week (source). The version people are buying is from Clubland 18, which is out today (source).

No Love at only #36 :o But Eminem never seems to do much promotion in the UK with his recent singles I think. Guess he relies on airplay which he has had for No Love but I think maybe he should have released it after LTWYL falls out of the charts and the airplay for that song slows down.
Rihannas lead is gigantic
P!nk at 24 now. Didn't think it was released until tonight (I didn't see it on itunes at 1 this morning). Shayne top 30 now (at 30) too. It's doing really well (hoping it will go top 5 after the X-factor performance tonight!).

Take That should be number one soon, P!nk for the top ten hopefully but she hasn't moved on from her 2008 So What type of music whereas Katy Perry, Rihanna etc. has.

Some Chords by Deadmau5 a new release? I got it ages ago from Clubber's Guide Summer
