I take it The Saturdays are not back in the Top 40 with their re-issue of Headlines are they?

They've reissued it again?!?

Why would people not buy it just because Robbie is back. Surely a good song is a good song. I buy songs based on the song not who sings it.

Because that would be too much like a normal, rational person's thinking.

They'd added three of the best songs from Wordshaker and the Flo Rida higher remix to it and are now charging full album price for it. It's like they've decided to forget that Wordshaker ever existed

Thanks M!key  Interesting chart to watch this week.

What has happened to Nadine's Fanbase?

Thanks to spiidey for filling in

As for Nadine, I saw it coming to be honest.

Lol! What a mess!

Indeed! Headlines isn't a mini-EP, it's now their second album :) This is what they want everyone to think anyway, and I'm sure the whole Wordshaker era has slipped from the public consciousness of most anyway considering it's two hit singles are two of the main selling points on this album too :heehee:

Why is everyone so shocked at SuBo's low sales versus her first album? Its doing incredibly well considering its a Christmas album - When was the last time a Christmas album reached #1 in the UK?!
Poor Nadine! I went to Tesco on Monday morning and the album wasn't even out on the shelves so i have yet to get my copy! I came home and went onto iTunes to download it and its not available on there! Epic mistake making it only available in Tesco - This sort of tie up only works for the likes of Simply Red etc,

Question:

Will Reggie play the 2 Minute Silence on Sunday?

Pisses me off that Katy is #5, SHE SHOULD BE #3 FFS.

McFly & Shayne Ward :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2:

Why should she? Firework is the fifth best selling song so far this week. Et voila :magic:

He'll have to, it's not actually silence anyway, there's a lot of ambient noise in it, cars going past etc.

Sounds great, I can't wait to hear it  Or I'll just open the window and listen to the same sound for 2 minutes

I support the cause and always buy a poppy but the 'song' seems pointless, like that 'song' that only dogs could apparently hear that got to #1 in New Zealand a few years back  John Cage's 4'33 was genius of course but only because he had the original idea in the first place, and the context of how it was supposed to be performed, not just listening to silence on the radio, but actually having somebody 'perform' it in front of you.

If Take That don't keep No.1 this week they may get it next week with the X Factor promotion it will have, but it's more likely to affect the album than the single

Poor for MCR but expected after average iTunes performance, seems that even former #1 acts (and one that got it in the last five years as well) struggle to do well now.

In the albums, big shock for Roll Deep! Pretty dire for Jay-Z as well given the calibre and popularity of the songs on there.

The most embarrassing thing must be Nadine's album chart run being worse than that of 3 Words..
I think McFly will actually hang on. Shine a Light seems to still be going strong on Itunes compared to other tracks up there. Its still climbing.
Brilliant for P!nk. I can see it doing a 'Bad Romance' and peaking low top 10 for a while, before it gets a boost to number 1! I really can't see P!nk, not performing on the final of X Factor or something...

I can't believe Rihanna has a shot at #1 (and also another shot @ 100k), I would've thought Take That would be #1 by miles!

Horrible for Nadine, I knew it wasn't going to be a smash, but I really did not expect #38, in the first midweeks no less- she'll be out of the Top 40 by Thursday, I suspect.
