As expected Rihanna at the top.... seriously disappointing for TT and really is underperforming considering the Nobbie hype and Radio Play

Great to see Rihanna on top. Her song is faar better than TT's. Really hope that Shayne will stay in top 10 by the end of week.

Anyway, I was expecting her to fall from the top 40 today and I suspect she probably still will do. Also I hope Shayne Ward keeps falling by Sunday, truly awful.

Not sure how I've managed it but I've only heard the Flood once. Usually love Take That's songs but I found it a bit bland. I loved 'Greatest Day'. Have never bought any of their albums though, apart from the Greatest Hits.

 

Anyway, if my memory serves me rightly, isn't it true now (if the chart stays as it is at the top) that every time McFly and Take That have released on the same day, Take That have ended up second with McFly third while a female singer (usually Leona) takes the top spot?!

I completely agree, Cheryl's material is miles better then what i expect from Nadine after her debut single, its just not good enough, very old-fashioned whereas Cheryl's is relevant, extremly catchy and her choreography is also really important. + All the support shehas from tv, radio & ofcourse The X Factor. Also her media image is far better then Nadine's.

 

I expect P!nk will be #11 tomorrow and hopefully top 10 by sunday, i like P!nk :)

so its settled, Take That wont be number 1- really amazing, I was utterly convinced it would get there- I guess bands like this are just very front-loaded :( :o

 

glad though that Shayne ward is falling, utterly abysmal song

Disapointed but not surprised to see Take That down to number2, even more disapointing is Kylie's album has dropped since yesterdays update,i hope it stays top 40 for sunday.

On a brighter note Bon Jovi are still #2 in the albums which is great.

Aw, as much as I love Only Girl I really wanted Take That to get #1 this week. The Flood is absolutely amazing.

Don't worry 'The Flood' fans, maybe we'll get an other 'The Flood' at #1 before the end of the year :kink:

Either way the flood is gonna sell very decent this week and overall should sell at least 300,000 if not more during its chart life. The album will fly of the shelves im confident of that.
