have you got nadine in albums plus sales...

We only have top 40 information. She's not in that. We have no new sales info. If anyone gets it, they'll post it.

Don't think anyone has mentioned this, but Tom from McFly has posted on Twitter that Katy Perry is about 3000 behind them and is catching up, so they're worried she's going to beat them to 3rd.

I think she will by sunday.

No Promo?

Apart from the mass hysteria over Nobbie going back to TT and also the massive amount of Radio Playy they've been getting - they should be holding up easily.

Yes, technically NO promo. TT getting the press coverage and massive airplay is a normal thing for a new hot release.

I blame Polydor really, they have totally f***ed it all up by bringing the release date forward. Yes, people might know TT are releasing new stuff, but they might also not know whether its 15, 22 or whatever. I am sure The Flood will outsell Jls and Westlife, because, at the end of the day, sales are more important than chart positions.

The release date has nothing to do with it, people can clearly see 'The Flood' by Take That is out as its right there on the top 10 itunes all week. You got to stop making exuses, maybe it is just people are waiting for the album!

Also sales arent going to be that high as its all the way down to #8 on itunes already..

Its still number 2 on mid weeks and I am more than sure the gap between TT and Rihanna are not that big as some of you can imagine.

Itunes is not the only place where people can download their music from, you know.Besides, TT are probably selling well on physicals.

SPECIAL NOTICE

Some members clearly don't understand when posting for chart info for artists that is not inside the top 40, if the artist is not listed in the update we don't have any further information available you just have to wait until someone has the info, chart info is never guaranteed every day, even a MW update might go up the spout for a day. You do not have to repeat the same comment over again, if your comment goes unanswered is because we can't answer it, as we don't have the info available to us.

We also have the red rules as a guide as well on page 1 under all the updates, its in the rules. Thank you.

I hope they are, i think even though they are #8 on itunes i think they have a place secured in top 3, and with X Factor they will shoot up itunes to at least #5-#3 i would guess. They just got to aim to stay in the top 10 before their performance on Sunday but thats not likely and once out of top 10 it could start dropping like a rock like we've seen with shayne ward and then i would guess it would be#8-#6 after their x factor performance.

So glad rihanna is still #1 with a 3rd week of HUGE sales! :D

where are roll deep and kid cudi in the albums :o.

I'm just not going to attempt to answer that, as I just made a point about these type of posts.

"slaps self" :(

M!key - I think that was more of a rhetorical question than an actual request for chart info!

Woo adele top 30 on the albums! I hope she rises over the weekend ^^. Could Katy Perry snatch the no.3 spot from Mcfly? I hope so, although Mcfly's song isn't too bad.

Gyptian still top 15 although BEP have overtaken. That's fine.

Poor Shayne.

Anyway, looks like McFly will probably have to settle for #4, but at least it's outpeaked Party Girl and it'll have good sales. Hopefully will stick around a bit longer than most McFly singles too

McFly are pretty chuffed with being 3rd and I'm sure wont be too upset about dropping to 4 (Although it will be a shame after holding on to 3 so far all week). I think being ahead of Take That on Itunes and reaching number 3 on there at this time of the year was good enough for them from their reaction.

Where abouts are Jamiroquai in the album chart?

Where abouts are Jamiroquai in the album chart?

No suprise there, it costs £3 extra to buy and the only difference is 3 songs off the previous album and the Flo Rida version of Higher. I don't know why they bothered! The artwork is all exactly the same too, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless you looked at the track listing!

indeed. i think most folks will just see a less attractive price point, and not know a new album. its the same a chasing lights v2 - not a deluxe more of a soft release, "update" if you will. even a sticker stating "4 top 10 hits including Higher feat FloRida version" may have helped without saying "new deluxe edition Headline Grabbers" or whatever else they wouldve come up with to copy GaGa's naming idea (Pixie i'm looking at you)

*giggle* @ Shayne Ward. :heehee:

Gosh you must really hate him, its like repeatedly in every single thread its not really adding much to the debate is it?

im happy to see the jamiroquai album fall quite fast, i was gutted to hear they were retrurning as i have liked their material

Sold 354,366 AT NO1. Only girl could sell that b4 it leaves no1 already, and given it's decline wouldn't be as rapid at first probably from there there's a good chance it could outsell umbrella!

Wow, it's strange how low Umbrella's sales were. If a song had those sales this year, it might've got 1 week at #1, but that's it, althought it would still be one of the best-selling songs of the year.

Although, Umbrella would probably be selling like Only Girl if it was released now, I suppose.
