I don't like that James Blake song on first listen, it sounds like Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap. Hopefully it will grow on me though. Great to hear Pack Up again, but I thought it was Skinny Genes that was getting released again?!
Lloyd Wade on the chorus is incredible. Best beat of the song!
This song is getting boring. This song will probably undermine her career, can't see her doing well with album 2.

It does sound SO dated. :(

I love the "Tweet tweet" bit though.

Skinny Genes has re-entered the top 100 most likely, but it's Pack Up back in the top 40 due to it being performed on Jools Holland (I think?)

This underlines the problem with the post-download chart, if the original is still selling very well, it threatens to undermine the release of the next single. Skinny Genes (and to a lesser extent, Rollerblades) suffered for this, although SG already went top 30, so it's not a big loss for her.

Multi-talented R&B artist, songwriter and producer, Taio Cruz signed a US publishing deal at the tender age of 18. Hailed as 'the new Babyface', the precocious Londoner earnt songwriting credits for Usher, Mya and Britney, and worked with Jazze Pha and Rich Harrison before his first release. On his debut album DEPARTURE (2008), Cruz inevitably shone in every department. From sweet and smooth vocals to the crisp and slick beats, DEPARTURE boasted individuality and style, and included the UK top five hit single "Come On Girl", a duet with Luciana. - HMV

I absolutely love Pack Up! Forget California Gurls, THIS was my summer anthem of 2010!

Pack Up hasn't been re-released. You're correct, it's just Pack Up has sold more than the track that has actually been re-released.

The 'Tweet tweet' bit reminds me too much of 'Don't Worry, Be Happy.'

Is that the Bob Marley song? I would listen to compare, but I'm enjoying Written in the Stars too much. I've probably heard it before though anyway.

This new 'chart game' has nothing do do with the chart, neither is it fun enough to be called a game. It's just a matter of 'let's get a semi-famous musician who's got a new single to promote to say a number between 1-40.' If the artist in question had the decency to tell us their favourite tracks that have charted in that position, it would make it a much more fun game that actually has to do with the chart.

Don't pretend it's about the chart when it isn't Reggie.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, I've noticed that happening with many artists that sell well on Downloads. Take Love The Way You Lie, and then No Love.

I've spent 10 years hammering this into people, but it looks like I'll have to do it again. BOB MARLEY DIDN'T PERFORM DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY! IT WAS WRITTEN 10 YEARS AFTER HIS DEATH! IT WAS BOBBY MACFERRIN!

Don't believe what P2P downloads tell you.
