February 13, 201115 yr On the Big Top 40 Show, they base it off iTunes sales and airplay on commercial radio stations for the songs charting between #11 and #40. For the top 10, they use what's in the iTunes top 10 at 6pm. This leads to songs charting twice sometimes. It also leads to songs that commercial radio play a lot, such as I Gotta Feeling, California Gurls and Bad Romance spending like 9 months in the top 40. And songs that sell well, but don't get played on commercial radio (e.g. Not Afraid by Eminem) have chart runs like 4-6-5-6-5-10-35-OUT. Also, they don't combine multiple versions of songs in the top 10, but they do between #11 and #40. So that means that based on itunes sales GaGa is at 3?

February 13, 201115 yr I like this, mostly because it's so silly. This, some songs are too serious these days, POW has originality to it and makes it a good song. Not sure if I like it as much as Game Over yet, but I'm probably biased towards Game Over because it has more mainstream rappers. :lol:

People often don't understand that the producer chooses the running order before even probably seeing Reggie today! So if something's missed it's not his fault.

I'm not actually sure, because I thought the top 10 the played at the beginning was based on the Sunday to Wednesday sales, so I'm confused as to why Gaga is even there in the first place. Although they've never confirmed what the top 10 at the beginning is based on, so I don't know. :lol:
