February 13, 201115 yr 9PM was not a shock #1 "Flat Beat" by Mr Oizo might of been a better example, it only was number one cos of some advert/tv show? I was too young at the time so I was guessing 9pm was a shock number one as it sounded nothing like the music of the time (Westlife, Britney Spears, Spice Girls etc) Edited February 13, 201115 yr by danielGaGa
February 13, 201115 yr Champion doesn't deserve to be UK number 1. <_< This! If not GaGa then Jessie J for number 1

February 13, 201115 yr Champion doesn't deserve to be UK number 1. <_< YES IT DOES!!!!! (Well, only if it sells the most, but as a song, I'd like it there.).

I was too young at the time so was guessing it was a shock number one as it sounded nothing like the music of the time (Westlife, Britney Spears, Spice Girls etc) Yeah because of the Levis advert - again not really a shocker, was #1 all over the continent. It definitely stands out, but if 1999 had lot of cheesy pop, it had even more dance music, so it kinda fit in too.

I was too young at the time so was guessing it was a shock number one as it sounded nothing like the music of the time (Westlife, Britney Spears, Spice Girls etc) There were alot of big summer dance songs then so it was typical. Flat Beat was due to the levis ad with Flat Eric.
