Bruno's song is like a bad album track...not the sort of thing I'd like to see (or hear) at #1.

Preferably Guetta can climb to #1 but seeing as that seems unlikely, I'd far rather a GaGa or Take That #1 on Sunday.

I would have Bruno at no1 anytime if he was to stop Guetta... I'm just too tired of DJ music, it is everywhere, almost identical, and is vocally, musically and lyrically poor... DJ music belongs to the clubs imo. <_<

 

I prefer TT and Gaga songs to Bruno's though.

Oh I'd definitely agree with that! I'll never understand how 'Party Rock Anthem' has proven to be so popular!

Even though I'm not a fan of 'The Lazy Song', it's a definite improvement, as you say.

I think #1 battle is between The Lazy Song and The Edge of Glory. Both probably will keep their lead over Where Them Girls At and Party Rock Anthem, with GaGa's increasing due to The Graham Norton Show.

Sorry Kath (didn't realise it was you... hello :)) but I just can't get into Yasmin at all. It's just mediocre girly dubstep. Katy B does the same thing better. And Aloe Blacc is so soulful, reminds me of the motown records my mum brought me up on...

if Bruno does get to number 1, it will be the first number 1 in ages which hasn't been at the top of Itunes all week, just staying relatively stable due to all the madness happening :lol: its a nice song and It will be a good number 1 (although I'd prefer Gaga or Take That personally)- that will give him a fourth number 1 :o

Gaga ain't gonna get to No 1 in just 5 days.. she's probably not even going to be performing TEOG on the Graham Norton show..

It's a real shame that Guetta et al have fallen to number 2 and at number 3 on iTunes, it doesn't look like they'll be returning to number-one at any point this week. Should be nice to see an interesting top 5 for a change though, with it being relatively unpredictable come Sunday; although it's now down to Gaga to stop Bruno from getting #1.

 

Take That at #17 after only a days sale? That's pretty impressive, should be top 10 by Sunday no doubt. Now we just have to hope that Pitbull keeps a decent top 10 placement, that Inna continues to climb and that Yasmin can hold on inside the top 15 so that she can outpeak 'Runaway'.

 

I think I'm on team-Gaga for the week then, now that Guetta's out of the running!

thats the thing- while GaGa is #1 on iTunes (by a bit), yet is only #5 on the main chart right now, how can she get #1 on Sun. when Bruno has had a whole week and steady sales and his song is on other download sites

I think Bruno has #1 in the bag now unless Guetta releases his video at the last second. It'll be more interesting to see what order GaGa/Guetta/TT/LMFAO/Pitbull/Chris come in. I think they'll probably be the 2-7 (TT may be lower than #7 though, given they're somehow already falling on iTunes)

Anything but Bruno at #1, I rather Gaga or Guetta at this rate just anything but Bruno and that average crap called the Lazy song, what a disappointing #1 song that would be, I'm hoping it doesn't keep it's current lead by Sunday in overall sales.
