June 5, 201115 yr Which version of Queen's GH is in the top 40? Is it the original or a different one? It's the first one, hence why it's only credited as 'Greatest Hits' :P First time we've seen the highest selling album of all time top 40 since November 2008! Edited June 5, 201115 yr by Bray
June 5, 201115 yr Bass Down Low missing top ten was a shame, especially considering Beautiful People/Party Rock Anthem have been there for months.
June 5, 201115 yr Dev top 12! Shame she looks like she won't ever go top 10 though :( I agree. She has certainly exceeded all my expectations massively, but at the same time, it's a shame she got SO close and missed out. :( She'll probably finally get a #1 with JLS in a couple of months. I still can't believe Like a G6 didn't get there. I'm surprised by On the Floor's longevity. I was expecting it top do well, but I thought it would be more like #20 around now.
June 5, 201115 yr the albums chart is strangely predictable each week now.....massive selling no1 - gaga/adele-21,then 2 adele albums - 21/19 then a new entry (this week the pierces) then the no5 is taken upby a massive selling album from this year like bruno mars/jessiej because their 2/3 singles are getting so much airplay!!

June 5, 201115 yr I think Bass Down Low is destined to be a long running single that never gets top 10
June 5, 201115 yr BDL  Does anyone in the music business actually possess the ability to say 'Ibiza' correctly though? :(

Like a G6 would have got there with some momentum, had a chart run not dissimilar to TiK Tok.
June 5, 201115 yr Never knew Dev was from Calilfornia! :o Perhaps Katy Perry should've asked her to do a verse for California Gurls. Edited June 5, 201115 yr by Eric_Blob
June 5, 201115 yr good chart run for dev...but to go top 10 it seems songs need good radio play - eg aloe blacc started getting massive radio play by both radio1/2 when he was entering the top 15!!
June 5, 201115 yr BDL  Does anyone in the music business actually possess the ability to say 'Ibiza' correctly though? :( It's just Americans that can't. Well, and Dutch people
June 5, 201115 yr Bass Down Low actually sounds good compared to some of the stuff around it - probably because it's a bit slower.
June 5, 201115 yr Dev's next single (I think) with The Cataracs is amazing. It's called 'Top Of The World' and it's much better than Bass Down Low. :)

June 5, 201115 yr It's the first one, hence why it's only credited as 'Greatest Hits' :P First time we've seen the highest selling album of all time top 40 since November 2008! I just wanted to check that the paragraph I'd written (already containing the above information) wasn't a waste of time
June 5, 201115 yr an earlier cd release for jessie j would have meant it wold have went higher than no9 officially!!
