I haven't heard Will's new song yet. Is it similar to Olly's?

If you go to the Will Young forum in artist forums I think there's a link to the you tube. It's probably his best single yet, a quality track

Guetta is so disappointing so far this era :(
it may seem irrelevant to you

and it's irrelevant to other people for sure.

Amy is very likely to have songs in the Top40 in Next Week's Chart

Basically, in real life, even if you didn't follow the charts, you can usually guess what the best-selling songs are at the time, or at least I can. I find the charts usually closely reflect what's popular at the time.

I think The Lazy Song (and to a lesser extent, OMG from last year) are exceptions to that. They were massive-selling songs, but in real life they didn't seem very popular.

And it happens the opposite way around aswell. Down On Me, for example, I felt was much more popular than its chart position suggests.

But this really depends on your lifestyle. I spent the last year practically living in secondary schools as a student teacher and Lazy Song was popular with my fellow students, almost all the pupils and even some of the teachers. So to me, Lazy Song does seem popular in real life.

Little Bad Girl is nothing compared to "Where them Girls At", but even that is a bit boring. And yes  Coldplay

Thanks. I'll check it out after the chart show, if I remember (or during if a song I hate charts ).

Coldplay didn't fall *too* much in the end    Still the best thing in the top 40 and will be until Example's release most likely (assuming it stays top 40 all that time which it probably won't :()

Hitz comes close to this but I think ETIAW just pips it. They're very different songs though obviously.

Speaking of Hitz, C&S' album is back in the top 10 at #9  Love how much longevity this album has even if it is selling pathetically (but then everything is)

Yeah, fair enough I guess. I'm out of education now, so I don't really talk about music to people much in real life anymore. :(

clearly you didnt get my point, which songs do you think will get where.

Which is NOT relevant right now...

YES! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Hopefully it can climb to #3 now with the top 10 boost, it's not a *huge* climb to there.
