Gonna download 'Down With The Trumpets'. :D Really like Rizzle Kicks, they're adding something different to the charts I guess and plus it's about time we get some more British acts in the top 10.

British acts returned to prominence in the top ten about 2 months ago so it's a bit of a weird time to be saying that :P

(generic comment about how bizarre it is that Rizzle Kicks seem to be getting so much love despite the song being among the poorest from its genre to hit the charts :manson:)

^ The Rizzle Kicks song just makes me laugh tbh. A lot of rap songs do, but that song in particular, I think it has great lyrics.

When I first heard Swagger Jagger I thought instant number 1.

But yesterday I watched it climb up the chart and was shocked to see it stall behind JLS for a while at number 2.

But I've checked iTunes today and just as everybody predicted... it's number 1

I meant more "new" British acts. :P Example, Calvin Harris and Dappy/Tinchy are all pretty established. Ed Sheeran is obviously new and i'm glad he's getting success, but i'd like to see some more new British acts than him. I know there's plenty out there!

BTW, have we ever had an all British top ten?

Just got home. I'm both really happy and surprised at Cinema being number 20, although FTP is down 2 places to 21 since I last checked. Hopefully it can climb back up.
Rizzle Kicks seem to be getting solid radio support they are good on Ollys new song. They will probably climb to around 7.Not surprised that the No 1 seems to have stalled just waiting for it to start dropping and hopefully we will get a string of No 1s that spend more than 1 week at the top.
Cher has a couple of other versions further down the chart, I think she'll be fine for number 1 this week :)

Plus the EP sitting at #5 in the iTunes album chart, the sales for which will be added to her single sales total.

Where are the other versions?

Plus what Spiidey said. Her EP is still #5 on iTunes Albums chart. usually they've fallen to about 9/10 by now (some even out of the top 10 on iTunes) so she's holding up steady. Hopefully number 1 is still hers...

I think she'll manage it. She's got a 21% lead just from the iTunes singles chart alone. If the EP in the album chart is added to that, I'd hazard a guess that she'll have circa 30-40% lead over JLS from the first 2 sales days. Most of Tuesday she should still have a lead, so will either gain more sales than JLS or sell the same; and with those first 3 sales days ahead of JLS, with the first 2 in particular being the strongest sales days of the week, I think she'd need to massively drop down iTunes Wednesday->Saturday for her not to be #1.

even if she is still number 1 till the end of Tuesday, it doesn't mean she will have sold the most on Tuesday.

I personally dont think she will do it. She'd have to be still in the top 5 on itunes by saturday and i can't see that at all

Nicki is doing a "Dev". :(

I wonder if Rizzle Kicks could replace themselves at #1 in a few weeks if they get to #1 with DWTT and then with Olly's HSAB. I take it Elvis was the last artist to replace himself at #1 in 2005.
