Why would anyone mention the actual CHER-music legend, vocal powerhouse and Gay Icon in relation to cant hold a tune, will never be Urban Cher LLoyd. :P

'Swagger Jagger' will never be an anthem in general though.

On a separate note, I actually sort of agree with Joinwithus. It's really sad that something so terrible can get to #1 solely on hype. But then we've seen it all before with JLS, Spice Girls (in some people's opinions) etc. I don't agree with the whole Syco generalisation though. But no one would expect me to, given I have Leona in my signature. :lol:

My 40 purchases thus far this morning have nothing to do with hype and are ALL to do with the fact that Swagger Jagger represents the SECOND COMING.

Swagger Jagger is absolutely dire. However, I can see it having a 'Once' style chart run. No way will this hang around, it'll be very front loaded and then hopefully the next single underperforms, the album flops and then she dissapears back to obscurity!

i dont like swagger jagger at all but i hope it does enough to launch the talentless jls off the top spot!

apparently her next single features busta rhymes so that will be interesting. i can see swagger jagger going top 2, second single top 15 and then top 10 album (there is hardly any competition in the album charts at the moment)

 

but after that i cant see much more of her...wonder if she will promote material through the x factor live shows...
