Cher Lloyd 'Swagger Jagger' very different from the 13 year-old girl I saw preform 'Hero' by Mariah Carey at The Chase Factor back in 2005.

Still nice to see that my hometown could have a No1 star!

The gypsies have been out in force I see. It's the only possible way Cher Lloyd could be doing this well.

I don't get the gypsy association with Cher. There's nothing wrong with gypsies imo. -_-

im not a gypsy an i have bought it so your comment dont make any sense

Beat Again stayed at Number 1 for 2 weeks - everyone thought Supernova (Mr Hudson) was a cert for the top spot and it came within a bar of going number 1 before dropping off again...

I think Cher will take number 1 though; would be good if JLS stayed top though :D

But that was when JLS were a new act, since Beat Again all their pre-album singles have plummetted down the chart so people fully expect She Makes Me Wanna to do the same when it looks like it may stay #2 :P

Whilst most songs I hate I can see why people would like them. With 'Swagger Jagger' I really don't see what there is to like in it, at least for anyone who's old enough to have started puberty. If you're 6 then yeah I can see it, but people my age... really?! I don't know anyone personally who doesn't hate it no matter what type of music they normally listen to.
That's fair enough. At least you're not coming in here saying that the people who are buying it "need to be tested" or "shouldn't have the right to buy music" or whatever. Those people, really, REALLY get on my nerves. (Whether it's someone I love - like Cher Lloyd - or someone I dislike such as Coldplay or whatever!) I just don't see the logic in those type of posts

It's really catchy and I love the instrumental. Plus her voice isn't as bad as some people make it out to be (I'm not saying she has the best voice ever but it's nothing too offensive). My only criticisms are it's lyrically horrible. Those are the things that stop me from looning over it  but I do still really like it.
THIS. (Although I deleted the part about the chorus being horrible or whatever ) Lyrically though, it IS awful. Musically I find it interesting, different and I find her vocals excellent on it. I never get those who say she can't hold a note or whatever, I think the chorus (as novelty as it is) shows of her voice pretty well. Also, do people not remember her 'Stay' performance? We know she can hold a note.

You do realise it was a joke. There's no way he actually thinks only gypsies would buy Cher Lloyd records? I despair at how serious people around here take comments obviously made in jest! I swear it never used to be like this.

Spelling and grammar not a strong suit though?

HOW IRONIC.

I don't think competition is THAT high in the T10 at the moment. DJ Fresh, Sheeran and The Wanted are all stabilising in their chart runs, so JLS are hardly going to fall far - if they fall at all.

I'm not sure whether I want Cher to reach #1 - as much as I expected it to do and is doing well to be at #2 already - having JLS for two-weeks would prevent the descent into one-weekers like we had last year.

You're gypsy comments are just rude, Fine if you dont like cher say something about the song or her singing, Not about gypsy's. Cause nobody finds you funny it's just plain rude!

That's the thing though - everyone was expecting JLS to fall far based on how quickly the likes of 'The Club Is Alive' and 'Love You More' fell.

But yes, I can understand why people wouldn't consider Ke$ha a rapper. I wouldn't really either, even though I think she raps in some of her songs (in the same way that B.o.B, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, etc. sing in a lot of their songs, but I don't really consider them singers).

There's absolute proof that Ke$ha isn't a rapper - I like her music - QED. :P

Cher STILL #2  She could end up not even getting to #1 at this rate! (Nah, I'm sure she will)

if only! vile little piece thats he is.

You dislike Coldplay!? I genuinely thought I was the only person on the planet! :o Too many of their songs sound similar to me. :( JUST MY OPINION, before anyone tries to kill me...

Cher is fine at singing. She didn't even need her Stay performance to prove that imo. Turn My Swag On she did fantastically imo.

It is odd that she hasn't managed to overtake JLS yet - I wonder if she will by the end of the day...

maybe she'll do a Clavin Harris, when Example stayed at the top?

I thought I was the only person who disliked Coldplay (bar a few songs, including Every Teardrop). JUST MY OPINION too btw ;)

Cher is a great singer imo. I thought so think Turn My Swag On, maybe not as vocally strong as Rebecca, Matt or Mary but she does have a really good voice, she proved it even moreso with Stay.

I liked some of Coldplay's bigger hits, like Clocks/Speed of Sound. I also liked Viva Vida when it first came out. But it was too radio-friendly, so I got sick of it after a while, and Firework basically outclasses it now for me (and was less overplayed).
