July 31, 201115 yr Wow. Also there was 'Impossible' by Shontelle last year, and then another poster mentioned Behind These Hazel Eyes and The Voice Within. I always see #9 as a frustrating peak because even though it's top ten, it's still sometimes seen as just an "okay" peak and that it's still pretty far away from #1. :( #10 is worse. Because it's still double figures, at a glimpse it looks like a bad position. I've always found that #10s and #11s in general have always been great.
July 31, 201115 yr Nicki Minaj top ten!? :o 'Super Bass' is one of my favourite songs of the summer, so I'm so pleased that it has (finally) reached top ten. :D Hopefully it'll be a climber next week, as well. On the topic of good songs peaking at #9, three of my favourite songs of 2010 peaked there; 'Commander' (Kelly Rowland), 'On a Mission' (Gabriella Cilmi) and the aforementioned 'Ego'.

July 31, 201115 yr Best Thing I Never Had is so boring for me. :( Run The World was just a complete disaster of a song, and this is pretty "safe" sounding but it's just a complete yawnfest. Broken Hearted Girl is still the best thing she's ever did, imo.
July 31, 201115 yr 'Best Thing I Never Had' is a massive grower - probably my favourite Beyoncé song now :o  WHY THE f*** WAS THIS NOT THE FIRST SINGLE? Edited July 31, 201115 yr by Bré
July 31, 201115 yr Hopefully 'End Of Time' can beat BTINH's peak. It going to #1 would be immense! ^_^ I hope that BTINH can be the next BP.
July 31, 201115 yr wow pitbulls run is unreal....hated it when i first heard it in april but loved it after my holidays where it was THE song on the summer - played 6 times every night lol.
July 31, 201115 yr I really love How We Roll now, the 'me and my baby oh oh' bit is sooo catchy. So happy to see Love Is A Losing Game make top 40 and Back To Black make top 10. Couldn't believe Frank went top 5 on albums after the mids this week, so happy about that. :cheer:
July 31, 201115 yr 'Best Thing I Never Had' is really good, but has gotten so overplayed, so quickly :(. That always happens to her good songs.

July 31, 201115 yr 'Best Thing I Never Had' isn't a patch on 'Run The World (Girls)'. [/unpopularopinion]
July 31, 201115 yr 'Best Thing I Never Had' is really good, but has gotten so overplayed, so quickly :(. That always happens to her good songs. You better cherish 'End Of Time' before it's released then. :P
July 31, 201115 yr I still love 'Best Thing I Never Had'; it's by far the best thing in the charts right now, and I'm so pleased it got such huge success that I never would have expected when I first heard the song. :o
July 31, 201115 yr Love how well The A Team is holding up, hopefully it's sold 50k again this week  This should be #4 again next week (unless DJ Fresh is still ahead combined in which case he might be #5) which would give it a 7th week top 5 :D
July 31, 201115 yr This song has held very well, something that was unthinkable for this genre a couple of months ago.

July 31, 201115 yr Wish the top 10 was reversed. :( 1. Nicki Minaj - Super Bass 2. Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F) 3. Amy Winehouse - Back To Black 4. Pitbull/Ne-Yo/Afrojack - Give Me Everything 5. Loikk Essien - How We Roll 6. Beyonce - Best Thing I Never Had 7. Ed Sheeran - The A Team 8. DJ Fresh - Louder 9. The Wanted - Glad You Came (assumed) 10. JLS - She Makes Me Wanna (assumed) That looks so much more appealing imo.
