Foreign Beggars are the ch**viest rappers I ever heard.
It's quite sad how Shakira used to be massive (Hips Don't Lie, Underneath Your Clothes, Whenever Wherever, Beautiful Liar) in the UK and now every other country in the world has her new album except us. :( She's released like four singles from it worldwide and we haven't even had anything because of the She Wolf flop and then the mess that was 'Loca'. :(
I love Badman Riddim. The lyrics remind me a bit of Jump by Flo Rida/Nelly Furtado though (which is a BRILLIANT song imo).
It was the biggest selling single of the 00s worldwide (I think it managed to usurp Hung Up in the end anyway). Considering it's my 3rd favourite song of all time, I have no problem with it being so huge!

According to Wikipedia the 3 best selling singles from the 00s were 'I Gotta Feeling', 'Tik Tok' and 'Hips Don't Lie' in that order. This of course counts sales in 2010 and 2011

Shocked Scherzinger managed to cling on - understandably it was #40 on Wednesday, but I thought Christina Perri or Benny Benassi would take it's place.

I thought "She Wolf" did pretty well

There are a few great album tracks but it has a LOT of filler. Quality control's always been Xtina's weakness.

Makes Me Wanna Pray, Nasty Naughty Boy, Save Me From Myself and The Right Man were always my CHOIX CUTS alongside the singles, which says a lot for a double album...

She just about got away with Stripped being so long because it was all high quality stuff but I don't understand why she continued along this path with Back To Basics and Bionic. There are actually two quite decent 12 song albums packed away amongst the 20 odd songs on each.

Hips Don't Lie was the highest-selling between 2000 and 2009 though. I Gotta Feeling and Tik Tok both overtook in 2010. Tik Tok probably had most of its worldwide sales in 2010, infact.

I've seen the imported version in HMV - but I really don't understand why the release has been postponed/cancelled - it'll just result in it's flopping big time. 'Loca' could've been a T10 hit had it been released in November/December 2010. I still think it could do well if R1 and video airplay begin - but we'd need confirmation of a release before all that.

The single did, the album was a pretty terminal flop...

Yeah I don't know what the hell is up with that. Considering they got Dizzee FUCKING Rascal to do the rap on the English version of Loca then they pulled it from release here. I just think they have no idea how to market a bilingual woman who doesn't make dance or (mostly) R&B music in the UK.

Anyway AMAZED that SFG are still top 40 :o

Given how much I hated Scouting For Girls' first album, I'm surprised how enjoyable I've found both 'This Ain't A Love Song' and this song. Perhaps because they've given up the pretense of being indie.
