I love Unfaithful and like CKB, but I admit that ballads are not Rihanna's forte at all.

California King Bed = perfect definition of a great album track ruined by being given the "single release" and being overplayed to death. I hate it now. :(

Just a #7, #9 and #10 peak needed for RiRi, then she's hit every spot inside the top 10 :D (Not another #2 though. That'd be evil )

really pleased 'California King Bed' has managed to get a respectable peak, respectable amount of weeks top 40 and longevity. One of my favourite RiRi songs and it's always nice to see one of your favourites do well  Shame it flopped in the US. :(

Another graduate of the BRIT performing arts school (as is Leona Lewis, Katie Melua, Amy Winehouse, Kate Nash...), Londoner Adele Adkins was voted the hotest new talent in the BBC's 'Sound for 2008' poll. Her acclaimed soul-pop debut album, 19, was released on XL and was preceded by the massive hit single "Chasing Pavements". Adele won the 2008 Brit Award for Critics Choice. - HMV

I swear the chart is upside down lately, two non movers at the bottom end and 3 new entries, sounds like the top 10 from 2008ish..

Hmm, I thought SLY might have been able to go a couple places higher than #33 but still great to see it reclimbing anyway :D

I was thinking that! We've had guitar-dominated songs by Scouting For Girls, Rihanna and Eminem, a hip hop/soul song from Jay-Z and Kanye, a pop/RnB song from Nicole, and piano ballad from Adele, and, er, that Swede Mason song.
