Erm... Ryth Lorenzo performed that on our X Factor, LONG before US X Factor was aired. I can definitely see someone singing that song this year again. As well as the U2 classic, 'One'. Hopefully Misha does it and does the Mary J. version, as I want that sog back inside the top 40 so, so bad! One of the greatest songs/covers of all time imo! :wub:

'One', 'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing', 'With Or Without You' and 'Purple Rain' are ALWAYS used. We've already had one of the four on the live shows and I'm sure IDWTMAT will be 're-used' for the live shows at some point. The XF really needs to ditch this tired old playlist at some point because it's getting really boring hearing the same bloody songs every single year.

Which is a shame because once again it'll be a joke performance. Not that I don't find them entertaining, but the man shouldn't be a joke act.

Johnny has allowed himself to become a joke act, he could do better songs but knows Louis is only keeping him around to fill the Goldie circus act void. He could never win or become a popstar. I hope it is true that Misha is ding a Linkin Park song.

Her doing Numb / Encore wouldn't surprise me at all, but she's usually more original and less predictable than to do a rock song, which is already fitted with a rap.

Well it's on X-Factor Updates now, they're always right with guests, and song choices too tbh. Plus Nicole is an XF US judge so she'll have top priority.

It's a bit of a cop out in rock week though. This is Misha's chance to prove her versatility. Personally, I think she's needs a week like Cher had last year when she did Stay. I want to hear the girl sing. She's a great performer but I'd like to see her focus on the vocals.

I wasn't the rapping I was referring to. I'd like to hear her sing a ballad. Completely stripped down to just her voice and none of the massive performance. We know she can do that, let's see something new. Also it would be nice to see Sophie and Janet do something a bit more up tempo. Or Frankie to do something good.

It says everything when Frankie's best performance from last weekend was his sole line in 'Hello'....which was mimed anyways.

 

Maybe Gary should reconsider this as the way forward for Frankie.

Oh yeah, thats a rock song isn't it? Very very uninspired choice, and

that would mean my 3 least favourite X Factor contestants ever, Cher, Diana and Janet, have all sung that song. I find the three of them so ridiculously annoying

 

YES PLEASE! :wub: it really doesn't count as rock, but still, I would LOVE janet to do that. or anything by queen avril, I'm not bothered. diana did a pretty good job of it so I reckon she would too.

come to think of it, she could do a really good 'nobody's home', shame x factor probably don't even know that song and only know avril for 'girlfriend'.

I loved Cher but that was her worst performance for me, and Diana had gone to the shitter by that point.

:( It's gonna be one of those where she'll either smash it or murder it.

I'm sorry but that does not pass for rock at all. What planet is Kelly Rowland living in. I know she's totally crazy, but this is just taking the piss. Also Misha - how very predictable and safe. It will be a good performance, but I want these themes to take the finalists out of their comfort zone.
