Rankings for last night:

01 Marcus (9/10)

02 Little Mix (9/10)

03 Misha (8.5/10)

04 The Risk (8/10)

05 Craig (7/10)

06 Kitty (5/10)

07 Johnny (4/10)

08 Janet (3/10)

09 Frankie (0/10)

YES. You're reading right. Someone with a penis has topped my rank :o

Pretty crap night all in all, Marcus and Little Mix totally stole the show for me. I was worried for Marcus upon seeing his song choice (it reminded me of Paije being given Crocodile Rock) but he rocked it, it was a fabulous performance all round without comprimising vocals. Little Mix were brilliant again, it was great they had such a different song from ET, and as a whole group they work so well, and vocally they are on top form. Misha was great too, but for her it was disappointing. She didn't bring much originality to it as she has in previous weeks for me, but it was nonetheless at the top end of the quality for the night. She looked SO much better as well! The Risk shocked me by giving their best performance so far, again I was worried with the song choice but it really suited them, and I loved the rap they included! Craig was alright but he managed to even make a dance song dull, I dunno what it is but he's just SO boring for me :( Now in the rankings we see a dip in quality.... Kitty was disappointing, the vocals were pretty patchy and it wasn't even a good, big performance... Johnny was well Johnny as usual  It was awful vocally obviously but it was lots of fun, still I think it was less 'fun' and entertaining than other weeks. Janet was SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. I was so looking forward to her doing something different but it was really bad :( She looked so uncomfortable, at times she was off key and she forgot the words! I was really getting flashbacks to Christina Parie on Australian X-Factor a few weeks ago, she was great each week but her Teenage Dirtbag performance was awful. And she messed up again this week (the theme in Australia was also dance), and ended up going... :( And finally Frankie. I'm not even going to say anything other than the fact it was easily the worst performance of the series so far. I was one of the few who actually was willing to give him a chance but he just TALKED his way through it  I was willing to forgive his performances of Rocks and Should I Stay Or Should I Go because honestly they were passable, but this wasn't even acceptable as the worst performance of the night on the Australian version...

Predictions:

Least votes, sent straight home:

Frankie

Bottom 2:

Janet

Kitty

Gary sends home Kitty

Kelly sends home Kitty

Tulisa sends home Kitty

Louis sends home Janet

I am geniunely worried for Janet, she is REALLY reminding me of Christina Parie on Aussie XF as I just said. Luckily Christina managed to scrape through after her Teenage Dirtbag and avoid bottom 2, but she did When Love Takes Over on Monday and it wasn't good, and she's now gone. It was later in the competition there though, Janet has 0 chance of going as she'll clearly smash the sing-off. I'm not even entirely sure she'll be bottom 2, Johnny is a likely candidate too, but I think the joke vote may save him. So that means it's not even sure Kitty will go, if it's Johnny/Kitty then Johnny would go. Although imagine if Kitty got least votes and left Frankie with Johnny  Worst sing-off ever! Or Frankie and Janet, tbh even Gary would send Frankie home then

And finally, Little Mix - I can actually see them lasting a good few weeks, I wouldn't be entirely shocked if they made the final actually! :o

---

As for the rumoured Gaga week:

Little Mix - Paprazzi

Marcus - anything really, he's versatile enough to be OK

Kitty - You & I (HAS to be)

Craig - he shouldn't be allowed to even contemplate having a Gaga song -_-

Misha B - Bad Romance

Johnny - LoveGame (he can just have her worst single, he'll be funny anyway :P)

The Risk - Just Dance

Janet - Pokerface (Cherrytree Acoustic)

Frankie - NOTHING. He's a concrete goner tonight anyway.

I came on here to say HOW AMAZING Marcus was, because I'm watching right now - but I've since seen Frankie...

God bless Louis, and I never thought I'd say it, but he's quickly becoming one of my favourite judges

I'd rank;

01 Marcus

02 Misha

03 Kitty

04 The Risk

05 Craig

06 Little Mix

07 Janet

08 Johnny

09 Frankie

I do love Janet, but she was quite crap last night, I'm glad she did an uptempo though.

I can't see Johnny escaping the bottom three this week. For one thing he performed first....and his performance was less fun then in previous weeks.

That said I think he'll avoid being instantly chopped (last place) but I can't see him surviving in the sing off (unless it's against Frankie)

08.5 Marcus

07.5 Little Mix

07.5 Misha

07.0 Kitty

05.0 Craig

04.5 Johnny

04.5 The Risk

00.5 Janet

00.0 Frankie

I suspect only Marcus and Craig are getting any sort of decent numbers on the phone votes.

09.5 Little Mix // AMAZING once again. The breakdown was absolutely incredible.

08.5 Marcus // Amazing. Not sure how the fucking hell this is a club classic but whatevz.

08.0 Kitty // A bit flat indeed. Still good.

08.0 Johnny // I thought he was really great!

07.5 Misha // It was good but I WANT MOAR.

06.0 Janet // Awkward. She looked so nervous and uncomfortable. I kind of liked it.

05.5 Craig // Ugh. I'm bored of him now.

02.0 The Risk // AWFUL back dancers and the whole staging. I thought Tulisa was going to tear her dress off and get on stage judging by her crazy monkey behaviour. JLS "one of the biggest bands in the UK"? Riiight.

00.0 Frankie // This is the worst performance of this season. All he did was walk and talk. :manson: And OMG Louis was fucking AMAZING. *.*

My prediction:

Bottom 3: Frankie, Little Mix, Kitty

Out str8 away: Frankie

Second exit: Kitty

Well that was a CAR CRASH

I counted two GOOD performances out of 9, another one that could be classed as half-decent just about, and the rest was utter SHIT.

Big LOLZ though at the fact we'd all been hyping ourselves up to the high heavens about the prospect of a Club Classics week, with predictions of storming covers of Rhythm Is A Dancer, Ride On Time and Dreamer GALORE (with last year's Show Me Love and You Got The Love renditions setting the standard). Only for us all to find out on the night that the X Factor producers' idea of Club Classics had very much REGRESSED back to the bad old days of DISCO WEEK (I really was expecting someone to bust out Young Hearts Run Free at any point). Very much Club Classics in the HEART FM sense of the term.

01. MARCUS Is this really a club classic? Dreadful song, albeit one that was performed very well with a near-flawless vocal. Only now does Marcus seem to be emerging as a real candidate, and I'm beginning to think that in the wake of the Misha B meltdown, Marcus is the only contestant left who could viably maintain a recording career.

02. MISHA B Yes she probably is an utter cunt, but this was DAMN GOOD. The weird into didn't work, but there was a real energy there that most of the others lacked completely. She threw herself totally in.

=============================

03. LITTLE MIX Quite solid, if a little unremarkable. They remain more likeable than the other girlbands in the history of the show. I think they're safe tonight. Big LOLZ at Tulisa's half-hearted endorsement - "There's something for everyone to relate to - we've got GEORDIE, we've got ESSEX, and...er...High Wycombe." Can a Buckinghamshire-based ITV2 show be far behind?

=============================

04. KITTY Disappointing. A weak week for her. I think it's probably just disappointment on my part though. The way she'd be talking through the pre-performance VT had me thinking she was going to be firing herself from a cannon, or indeed nailing a black man onto a wooden cross onscreen. The fact that in the end, her big "stunt" amounted to her quietly taking off her coat, and it was an absolute anti-climax. The first time I found her dull.

05. THE RISK The fact that I can't really remember their performance or even what they sung says it all. They can't have been good enough or terrible enough to stick in the mind. Rapidly going downhill.

=============================

06. CRAIG GOD for one horrible moment I really thought Gary had fulfilled everyone's tired expectations of how-will-the-judges-flout-the-theme-this-week with a Candlelight Remix rendition. He remains solid vocally, but I just can't see him being anything but a Leon Jackson / Joe McElderry reincarnation.

07. JOHNNY After the last two weeks, how INCREDIBLY disappointing that Louis has reverted back to treating him as novelty act. Hung Up in particular was screechy, and he became the joke gay act again but without any of the previous fabulousness. I suspect a lot of people will have the same reaction as Gary and my own parents; any fans he may have gained in the last two weeks have just been lost.

08. JANET OH DEAR. Club Classics was always going to be her stumbling point, and she proved everyone right who suspected she DIDN'T have the versatility of Diana Vickers; this was no Call Me. Half-hearted karaoke with half the lyrics missing; FATAL.

=============================

09. FRANKIE OMFG Louis Walsh had a genuine QOL moment there, and in ten seconds flat justified his place on the X Factor judging panel for the rest of eternity (of course he dirtied it straight away afterwards by rather petulantly and childishly trying to order Gary and Kelly to shut up). I, as with everybody else, applauded every word he said. That was possibly THE worst non-ironic performance ever seen on the history of the show.

I watched this with my parents last night, which was quite the novel experience, as I would assume they're a LOT closer to general public opinion than I am. Which means that NOBODY LIKES FRANKIE, Misha B looks like a "voodoo priestess and her family are the local cannibals" according to my slightly racist father, Johnny is GENUINELY POPULAR, Kitty has "strange eyes", and Craig is going to win and consequently become the third X Factor winner in a row to fall flat on his face.

MY AMAZING RATE IS AMAZING

01 / Marcus / Was not a fan to begin with but he is working his way in. Amaze. / 9.5

02 / Little Mix / AMAZING AGAIN. Love these girls. Shame they will soon be plagued with the girlband curse. / 9.0

03 / Kitty / I genuinly don't understand the hate Kitty gets. She's not amazing on the levels Tyron praises her but STILL / 8.0

04 / Janet / Was awkward, but nowhere near as horrendous as everyone made out. Started well, got a bit worse. It's the standard X Factor shit, they tell someone who has a specific style to go out of their comfort zone, then criticise when they do. QUEEN JANET WILL LIVE ON / 7.0

05 / Misha B / The speaking intro was horrendous, the singing was good but not deserving of the all round LOVE FEST / 6.0

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

06 / Craig / I HATE CRAIG. In terms of singing, it was nice, not fantastic though. He's just so MEH. / 4.5

07 / The Risk / BORING / 3.0

08 / Johnny / Oh Johnny, what happened :( You went from entertaining to fantastic to just plain DULL. / 2.0

09 / Frankie / Do you know the main thing I have to say about this little scrote? Why does he get more cockney every week? Just why? #f***OfFFrankie #f***OfFFrankie #f***OfFFrankie #f***OfFFrankie #f***OfFFrankie #f***OfFFrankie #f***OfFFrankie / -5

JLS, Florence and Rebecca Black.

Ha thanks ! I was shocked and immediately googled Rebecca Black and it appears to be a joke. I'd rather have her instead of JLS though. :(

What's with this JLS and Wand Erection being on the X Factor Xmas single?! Just to make sure #1 can't be taken by anybody else?

Probably because Simon Cowell has such little faith in this years contestants (can you blame him? :D ) that he probably thought we need ** ahem ** BIG NAMES on the track. The fact this is the first time The X Factor Finalists' single will feature both JLS and One Direction speaks volumes.

PREDICTING Frankie straight out (who could actually vote for that performance?!) Then a Johnny/Janet bottom 2 (I wish), KITTY MUST STAY

Has anyone ever been in the bottom two after performing last?

I rewatched Little Mix's performance just now and I actually enjoyed it more than last night. It was better for me than I remembered.

Marcus and Misha by far were the best from last night, Misha is still my overall favourite, she's consistent every week and imo the only one with actual star power to possibly having a good career out of the show, I think many of this year's bunch would probably flop with record contracts after their 1st lot of releases, even if Marcus were to win, he just be another Matt Cardle, after a year no one cares and shouts NEXT!

(New Series, New Contestants)

Officially MIFFED at how overrated Marcus is.

With the greatest of respect Bray, you're saying this at the same time as championing someone who forgot their words and by all accounts put in a very mediocre performance. I would suggest it's not so much the rest of us, but your perspective that's skewed.

I don't know if that'd be too true of Marcus actually, I think he could release contemporary stuff and do well. Craig on the other hand ...

Whoever it is that ends up winning they need to stop following this Leona template and get something out in the summer to capitalise on the quieter charts. I'm not saying rush out a covers album for Mother's Day but there's a happy medium between releasing something after two months or waiting for ten.

Oh DO SHUT UP.
