Yeah, all these campaign songs are just awful :( Military Wives Choir I'll take because it's for a good cause, and Alex Day at a push is listenable. But bloody 'Dominic The Christmas Donkey' is like the last straw, I mean WHY? If there's gonna be pointless campaigns endlessly I just wish one of them was for The Pogues or Mariah Carey :(

Where are Matt Cardle's and Will Young's new singles Starlight & Come On? Havent seen either in top 100..

I dont want Matt to fail, and i expected Will to do at least okay with his next single after Jealousy did pretty well.

Dominick The Donkey? #3 now and obviously loads of other entires of it below.

Like Alex Day with Forever Yours :o

Nirvana at #15 (& #69) i think thats doing really well, where did it peak originally?

The Military Wives isnt really a campaign like a facebook one, its just a release trying to get the xmas no1 and doing a good job of it.

Dont actually mind the chris moyles campaign, least its a xmas song - has it charted in the uk before?

There's even fake cover versions of Dominick The Christmas Donkey, at #108 and #121!

To be honest Liam, I much prefer a decent act or band with a decent track for example Paradise, or at least a decent original Christmas track at #1. I know Military Wives Choir is not exactly my cup of tea, but at least all the proceeds are going to a charity, the Dominick the Donkey track just takes the flipping biscuit, in that case unleash Mr Blobby, or the Teletubbies.

Yeah, I've never understood why they don't just campaign for a release at the time to get number 1, or at least for one of the classics, not Dominic The Donkey and Nirvana...

come on reached 83 two weeks ago, was 90 last and is out of the top 100 now. Starlight reached 185 :( and then out i would imagine so both flopped.

God the charts are a mess right now. Most of these Xmas/novelty songs will plummet in about two weeks and then we'll have all the old songs doing well from the iTunes vouchers. :o Such an interesting time to follow the charts!

International Love  to #117. :( Should be about 116 places higher.

Don't ask  Just...don't ask.....

Little Mix could fall to 4 at this rate come sunday with MW at 1, Alex Day 2 and Donkey at 3

iTunes has gone crazy! I'm quite enjoying it. Not for musical quality, but just for the entertainment. (and the fact it's suddenly got quite unpredictable)

Donkeys... honestly...

The early hours of tomorrow morning will be interesting as the sales that got Military Wives' choir to number 1 straight away will be gone from the itunes chart.

Thanks Rob, ah thats a shame, maybe after xmas period with xmas songs in top 40 all over the place they may come back with a hit single, but not sure if it'll happen. I'm worried with Matt what they'll do.

 04 Coldplay - Paradise

 22 Stacey Solomon - Driving Home For Christmas

 33 The Only Way Is Essex - Last Christmas

 66 Jessie J - Domino

Essex and Stacey really underperforming, then you get Alex Day and Donkey thing just out of nowhere selling so well. :o

TBH Alex Day in retrospect isn't that out of the blue when you look into the history of it.

And the Donkey is being ramped by Moyles - so again not surprising in context
