Woah Take Care  #8 and increasing fast what is causing this to rise like this?
'Take Care' is rapidly climbing a- the top 10 effect is helping and b- his tour tickets went on sale today and the Nottingham date sold out in just 8 minutes, so I suspect he's done just about the same on his other dates. That could be helping.

To be fair, I doubt Drake had many tickets on sale in the first place. But still, that's amazing. Rappers don't usually have many people attend their live shows, especially in the UK. I heard he had to add more dates.

It's an arena tour. So even if all the tickets weren't on sale, there would still be a lot more than the standard venue I'd imagine.

It's worrying to see how much Britain's biggest artists are starting to struggle/Underperform. The Saturdays, Pixie Lott, Jls, The Wanted are some that spring to mind. Thankfully The Wanted have Glad You Came that sold fantastically but their promotion has been beyond immense for their album to sell steady (xFactor,Strictly,Children In Need) Their latest Single Warzone was released this week and has had promotion throughout the week and is #67 on iTunes meaning that it will not even peak in the top 50 in the official charts.

Jls - Do You Feel What I Feel has already had the video out for 2 weeks and been playlisted. The song itself is #45 on iTunes but I doubt the song itself will peak in the top #20. The album should still sell a decent amount 500,000k+ but they are slowly declining.

Pixie Lott, All About Tonight will become her biggest selling single and has been eaten alive by radio. It's currently at #65 on iTunes with sales of 305,000+ with the christmas bonus coming up I still have faith the song itself should easily pass 350,000. What Do You Take Me For peaked at #10 with good sales and fell hard and underperformed more than anything which also caused her underwhelming Album Young Foolish & Happy to debut awfully. Saying this the album is on 55,000+ and I still think it will pass 300,000 as she will release more songs and lets face it the radio will always support her. Turn It Up also passed 860,000 sales in the United Kingdom.

The Saturdays what a flop they have been. Notorious 178,000. All Fired Up 188,000. My Heart Takes Over 45,000 (4weeks in the top 200). On Your Radar 33,000. I am worried about where The Saturdays are going and their album sales are nothing but shocking. I understand they don't have the best promotion as they don't get on the big shows YET. The Saturdays themselves really need to move label.

Yeah, He sold out the O2 arena (Not indigo) in 15 minutes and had to add another date, and that got sold out in 30 minutes, same with LG Arena in Birmingham, Do you think its full capacity that sold out? because because 40,000 tickets for a rapper is alot to shift

True, their popularity is slowly declining, but the phenomenal success of Ed Sheeran restores ones faith in British talent. The guy is amazing.

Oh well, big deal, they are all crap anyway! ;)

Coldplay are up to 0.73! I wonder how big the physicals are going to be for Little Mix next week.

I don't think Adele has any worries on that score, though... :P

Could Little Mix end up as the worst-selling XF winners single (how many did Steve Brookstein sell)?

he sold 127k in his first week. im pretty sure they will outsell him

It certainly looks like Little Mix may struggle to get platinum sales overall doesn't it :o Looks like The A Team is safe in the EOY top ten (unless Military Wives have a BUMPER opening two weeks).
Rebecca  23 from Graham Norton
Warzone's full release date is 26th, so it still has a little more time to get going. Probably still won't do well, but it should rise a few places by default when the Christmas songs disappear in that week.

The Military Wives with Gareth Malone are on Graham Norton show next Friday, another boost :( no hope for Little Mix for a second week.

I don't agree. If these acts actually released decent music then "music lovers" would be more than happy to buy those tracks - not just the decreasingly reliable fanbase.

The Wanted released the video to 'Warzone' far too early. 'Lightning' was only promoted about 4 weeks beforehand and despite entering at #2 plummeted downwards. The record company probably thought releasing a new single so soon after would help keep the boyband in public interest. Was 'Warzone' really the next best single on the album to keep their careers going for another 5 weeks? Sales suggest not.

JLS have been getting worse since the release of 'The Club Is Alive'. Any proper music lover would listen to 'She Makes Me Wanna' and laugh, or 'Take A Chance On Me' and cringe at just how bad the song is. I actually think 'Do You Feel What I Feel' is a decent song but following two complete :manson: tracks, is it really any wonder why this song is doing so badly? 'DYFWIF' should've been the lead single. 'TACOM' should never have been a single full stop.

Pixie Lott is one of those typically British popstars who bring nothing new to the table. The type of act who will never be a successful export in other countries. The music she releases could've been released by Billie in 1998, or Jamelia in 2004. Literally nothing exciting about this girl at all. Her latest single is the most forgettable track I've heard in a while too. There's no hook, no decent chorus. She's lucky her loyal fanbase got it to #10 but the fact it plummeted from week 2 onwards speaks volumes.

The Saturdays are the only act who could go one of two avenues. Either sweep this era under the carpet, focus on the next album and come back in late summer 2012 with another 'Up' (their best single by a country mile). Or split up.

In the days of downloads and unlimited supply where 5 year old tracks like 'Chasing Cars' are constantly in the iTunes top 200, for brand new singles from 2011 to enter inside the official top 10 and be out of the iTunes top 200 faster than a speeding bullet is a disgrace.

Not really. If that happens, all that means is you're not getting played on Heart FM. It's nothing to do with how good the song is.

Rizzle Kicks  10

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Shame they're knocking out T-Pain (I assume) though :(
