December 18, 201114 yr Has any other single gone 2-3-4-5-6 recently? I know four songs have gone 1-2-3-4-5 Poker Face came close - 1-2-3-4-5-5-6
December 18, 201114 yr OLLY MURS<3333333333333 [yep bit of an Olly loon...] So glad this era has been so successful for him, 2 number 1 singles and a number 1 album!
December 18, 201114 yr Earthquake also came close (2-3-3-4-5-6). If we erase 'Read All About It' from history it could have been 1-2-3-4-5-6 :P But butterfly effect etc. so maybe not. Edited December 18, 201114 yr by Michael Bubré
December 18, 201114 yr So happy for Olly. :D Big Gold #1 in the summer, big Gold (i'm sure DWMT will go Gold) #1 single in the winter, #1 album which will probably go double platinum (it's ALREADY platinum after three weeks), arena tour, Xtra Factor host and still so down to earth! :o
December 18, 201114 yr I think they've just come on, so you might not have missed much. :) I haven't been watching much of X Factor, so I don't really know them, but they sound like cool girls. :D I was meaning I'd missed most of the chart show. Little Mix are amazing! Can't wait to hear their reaction when they get #1 (even if they probably already know).

If so it will have already passed gold. Nearly 80k first week, over 60k second week, 46k last week leaving less than 20k this week to get there and if sales are that low at #3 it's a bit worrying :P EDIT: No, that's silver. Ignore me. I always forget there's something before gold. Edited December 18, 201114 yr by Michael Bubré
December 18, 201114 yr Dido's White Flag went 2-2-3-4-5-6 in 2003 so technically it did it, just with another week at number two beforehand!

Haha, yeah Silver = 200K, Gold = 400K, Platinum = 600K. :) Although I do think there should be a Bronze at 100K just for the sake of it. And maybe Diamond for a million.

December 18, 201114 yr Fantastic top 2! Loving that Paradise is becoming such a hit! And Little Mix #1 officially! At least for one week. ^_^
December 18, 201114 yr My favourite part of X Factor this year is when Dermot asked Little Mix what they thought of the song choice and they were speechless. They were bewildered that they were aked for their opinion when they were doing as they were told. Its a harsh business and these girls are going to have to grow up very quickly and not let themselves be taken advantage of. Music video for Little Mix not out yet?? No, the slow motion X Factor retrospective is not out yet. Edited December 18, 201114 yr by Paramore
