182. Talk That Talk

184. Where Have You Been

Which song has sold the most? Which song is getting the most airplay? Which song has the most views on Youtube? Which song was the album NAMED after?

:coffee:

You do realise TTT has probably been getting the most airplay, the most Youtube views and the most sales BECAUSE it is the title track?

Having said that, I'd also prefer TTT to be the second third single.

Hope I don't sound ungrateful here (and I could do without the "post them yourself" responses), but is there any reason why print screens of the pop. bars stopped being posted on this thread? I think they're still posted occasionally but I remember they were posted about twice a day. That's the only problem with the top 100 updates, you can't see pop. bar leads. :(

I think they're being posted less now because we have Live Pop Bars.

Yes, that's probably true. Title tracks from albums seem to usually get more attention, even if they're not very good. I think also the fact that Talk That Talk features a Jay-Z verse is helping it. And with regards to the airplay, Talk That Talk will do better, since urban radio stations can play it. They're not allowed to play Where Have You Been very much.

That said, according to Compare My Radio (which isn't very accurate, but still), Where Have You Been has been played only once on Radio 1 in the past month, whilst they've played Talk That Talk 3 times in the past month. Or a more extreme example being Choice FM which has played Talk That Talk 84 times, and Where Have You Been 0 times.

How on earth did Rizzle Kicks manage to climb to #03?

08. Little Mix - Cannonball

22. Adele - Someone Like You

26. Millitary Wives - Wherever You Are

31. Jls - Do You Feel What I Feel

49. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight

99. Example - Changed The Way You Kissed Me.

 #36 Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks.

Why is this climbing (again)!?! :o Perhaps it could get back in the top 40 this week. I forgot how much the gift card effect helped it though.

It looks like Flo Rida could be back up to #1 tommorrow.

LMFAO up to #4

T-Pain up to #23

Sean Kingston up to #43

I Gotta Feeling up to #122 (I think this might go top 75 before New Years)

^ Yeah, You Da One must fall out soon. I said the day before that I thought it'd fall out yesterday, so I'm surprised it's still in now (sorry if this sentance made no sense (although that's probably just the norm with my posts )).
I genuinely think 'You Da One' is the worst thing Rihanna has ever done (all album tracks from all albums included) :(

Wow! :o My least favourite Rihanna song is probably Don't Stop the Music (generic and was soooooo overexposed at the time) or Russian Roulette (so boring and depressing to me). Disturbia I also really don't like. I don't hate it THAT much, but I feel like it's one of the most overrated songs ever.

On the flip side, it also shows Where Have You Been is doing almost as well as a song that has had more airplay and youtube views (and general recognition), so surely it'd chart better with the actual recognition? Just an idea. :P

I think 'Russian Roulette' is a great intense and dark ballad, it was such a risky track to come back with and it was brilliant, 'Disturbia' is my second favourite and 'Don't Stop The Music'... well, I did like it but overplay has killed it permanently for me.

She can do un-generic R&B really well, I actually adored the whole Rated R album (barring the 2 or 3 obvious fillers), but this new single is not even remotely listenable.

I also find it pretty bad by her standards, but I'm also not mad keen on 'We Ride' (I find it bland), 'Rude Boy' (Annoying and too repetitive, although I can appreciate this as a single) Though her highlights for me are Unfaithful, Umbrella, Disturbia, Rehab, Te Amo, Only Girl, What's My Name, S&M and We Found Love from her singles. I sound like such a loon.

Edit: I agree about Russian Roulette. Not only that, but by the end of her last album, critics were saying she couldn't actually sing, so when she came back with that it hushed everyone! :D

Ugh. 'Party Rock Anthem' I can genuinely see the appeal, despite me hating it myself. (At least there was something going for it) 'Sexy & I Know It' though? I really am baffled as to why it's such a success. Terrible, TERRIBLE "song". The video isn't good or funny either.

I do hope Little Mix can hold up better than they are doing though :\ I would like a Summer, up tempo release with a second release launching the album! It'll work well for them. (NO COVERS THOUGH!)

EDIT: And I'll just pretend that 'We Ride' is so shit that everyone else seems to have (rightfully) erased it from their memories  Nothing should be coming at the bottom of the RiRi singles rank, other than that song. Terrible. Why she released it over 'Break It Off', I will NEVER know/properly understand!

Ugh god, TOTALLY agreed on LMFAO... I do also see then appeal with PRA, I did actually like it myself briefly but I grew to REALLY hate it so quickly. But S&IKI is just absolutely VILE. Honestly one of the worst songs I've ever heard, it's not even funny and has NO redeeming qualities at all. It angers me even more Champagne Showers flopped when I actually love it, and these two awful songs are smashes :(

Agreed on We Ride as RiRi's worst single too, it's listenable though.
