May 12, 201213 yr Very good final, I enjoyed all the acts. My preference for the win is the dog act. It was just brilliant :D And a dog act has never won! I voted for them too. I was thinking earlier on that Ryan will win, but at the moment I'm not so sure. Anything could happen. I have to say I agree, its a very open final with A&P, J&C, Ryan, The Loveable Rogues and Only Boys Allowed having a chance I think of taking it, although I do think J&C and A&P have the largest chances but I don't think the other 3 I mentioned can be far behind.
May 12, 201213 yr This final has won me back over! Once you whittle it down from rubbish joke acts and copy cats, you actually have some amazing talent! Hoping Ashleigh & Pudsey win, but I reckon it's most likely to be Jonathan & Charlotte (which would still be a fantastic winner!).
May 12, 201213 yr This years final is just so much better than the "talent" on offer last year (remember Jai? Thought not...) Here's my rankings of the performances: 5/10 The Mend <--- Wildcard winners, missed their performance as I was still watching The Voice, saw the recap but didn't think it was that good. 8/10 Sam Kelly <--- Very good song choice and the better of the two singer/songwriters tonight. 7/10 Nu Sxool <--- They provide the cute factor so for kids dancing, they're great...but they're not Diversity. 10/10 Molly Rainford <--- Absolutely stunning. Scary how mature she sounds for an 11 year old. Really caught my attention. 8/10 Loveable Rogues <--- Prefer their other song 'Lovestruck' whilst this song didn't have the same impact with me. 5/10 Kai & Natalia <--- Had it not been for Natalia's accident, they might have given a much stronger performance. It was too safe which is understandable (hence why the first lift didn't quite work) 7/10 Aquabatique <--- A really unique act, never seen synchonised swimming on BGT so kudos to these girls. Would have walked the competition last year. Then again, I think any of these acts could have won last year. 6/10 Ryan O'Shaughnessy <--- For me personally, whilst I applaude Ryan for singing an original song, it just plodded along and didn't really change gear much so it sounded like a few different verses put together without any killer chorus to really lift the song. 10/10 Only Boys Allowed <--- Or "Junior Only Men Aloud" if anyone remembers them. Strong performance and put themselves in a really good position to win BGT. 10/10 Ashley & Pudsey <--- Fantastic performance considering Ashley only had a couple of days to put this together. If this is her best performance with a couple of days to prepare, then surely a Royal Variety performance - with months to prepare - would be sensational. 10/10 Jonathan & Charlotte <--- They've been my tip to win since the audition. Jonathan has an incredible voice - better than Paul Potts imo, but then again Paul Potts really did stand out in 2007.
May 12, 201213 yr YES! I've only watched the final, none of the semis, but the dog act was AMAZING and the first time I've ever voted for anybody on Britain's Got Talent. Fantastic winner, I adore the dog so much, my dog has a very similar face
May 12, 201213 yr Great winner - really pleased to see it actually go to a variety act. Jonathan and whatsherface will be the xmas number 1 album anyway!
May 12, 201213 yr YAY!!! Really pleased, with the win, a great winner for once. Actually I think all the winners of BGT have been diverse and great so far! RANK: Best - George Sampson Diversity Ashley & Pudsey Spellbound Paul Potts Worst - Jai Macdowell EDIT to add Jai.
May 12, 201213 yr Great to see the dog act win :D They deserved to win, it was much better than most dog acts that I've seen. I only watched the final of this series but it was very entertaining. The top 2 this year was much better than last year's Jai and Ronan Parke (where has he gone now, he was hyped up to be UK's Justin Bieber at the time but his album flopped)
May 12, 201213 yr Oh yay! So pleased for them, voted for them and I'm so glad a dog act finally won. The whole show was very enjoyable to watch this year and I'm glad that this is the conclusion.
May 12, 201213 yr So glad Ashleigh & Pudsey won! I melt at the sight of any animal act so I'm really glad that one has finally won!
May 12, 201213 yr Loveable Rogues were the only act I actually liked in the final, so very annoying to see them not making the top 3 - I was certain they'd make it in over Only Boys Aloud. Glad that Ashleigh & Pudsey won over Jonathan & Charlotte though.
May 12, 201213 yr So happy for Ashleigh and Pudsey! :D Oh, and speaking of Ronan Parke, I rather liked his album if I'm honest. :P Ranking the winners for me: Ashleigh and Pudsey Diversity Spelbound George Sampson Jai McDowell Paul Potts I was ecstatic when Spelbound won because they're from the same town as me - one of them went to the same primary school as me!
May 12, 201213 yr Actually I think all the winners of BGT have been diverse and great so far! RANK: Best - George Sampson Diversity Woman and Dog That Acrobatic act Worst - Paul Potts If Paul Potts is the worst, I dread to think where poor Jai Whatshisface (winner of BGT 2011 I'll have you know) ranks. :D He really was the Leon Jackson of the BGT winners, wasn't he? Both young lads from Scotland. Co-incidence? :heehee: My personal rank: 01. Diversity (without a shadow of a doubt, incredible dance act - inspirational how they encouraged young teenagers to get into street dancing when dancing, in general, was consider uncool) 02. Spelbound (they were extraordinary with their gymnastics routine - not quite Diversity levels of excellence but not far behind) 03. Ashley & Pudsey (this years final had several highlights and it's a refreshing change to see an animal act winning BGT) 04. George Sampson (good but even in 2008 I didn't really think George was outstanding - especially when compared to Diversity just 12 months later. Was AGOG when 'Singing In The Rain' by Mint Royale made UK #1 off the back of George's performance on BGT) 05. Paul Potts (I actually liked Paul Potts in 2007 and being the first series, there really wasn't anything to compare it to so I thought Paul was brilliant at the time. In retrspect he wasn't quite as good as I'd remembered but that's because all the winners - bar last year - have been better showing just how much BGT has progressed) 06. Jai **insert surname** (shameful, the only winner nobody remembers and he only won in a year ago. Proves just how bad last year's series was. That young lad who finished second was also too manufactured and fake for my liking).
May 12, 201213 yr If Paul Potts is the worst, I dread to think where poor Jai Whatshisface (winner of BGT 2011 I'll have you know) ranks. :D He really was the Leon Jackson of the BGT winners, wasn't he? Both young lads from Scotland. Co-incidence? :heehee: OHMYGOD I forgot that Jai bloke. He is very much last and forgotten!
One of them was in the year above me at middle school! :P Rankage: Spelbound Diversity Ashleigh & Pudsey George Sampson Paul Potts Jai McDowell Spelbound and Diversity are on another level, but Ashleigh and Pudsey have a special place in my heart  The next two are decent, but Jai McDowell was an awful winner. The worst out of the final he was in imo. :arrr:
May 12, 201213 yr Great final. Pleased Ashleigh and Pugsey won. Johnathan and Charlotte, Molly, Ryan, OBA and Aquabatique stoodout too. Loveable Roeges and Sam I like too which shows good the final is especially when the audition lacked interest. So happy it finished great.
May 12, 201213 yr I didn't see the last two acts as I turned over for The Bridge but I can't stand animal acts so I'm appalled to see that the dog won. The Loveable Rogues' song was not as good as Lovesick but it was decent enough. Their lyrics aren't exactly profound but that's part of their charm. While I can be pretty sure I'll hate an animal act before I see it, I also expect to enjoy a Welsh male voice choir and this one was very good. Much as it pains me to agree with Cowell, the emotion did come across even though they could have been singing "Where's my keys, where's my phone" for all I knew. Leaving aside the diabolical name Nu Sxool were good but didn't offer anything different. They were not a patch on Diversity for instance. There are two real tests for me. First, would I pay to see the act perform for an hour or more? The only act to tick that box were Loveable Rogues (possibly). Second, would I buy a CD or DVD? Again, Loveable Rogues possibly and maybe Ryan O'Shaughnessy (as long as there's the odd cheerful song  ) and Sam Kelly with the right material.
May 12, 201213 yr I'm pleased that Ashleigh & Pudsey won through in the end, their performance just made me smile and that's all I wanted out of a show like this. I think The Loveable Rogues will go on to do very well, they're like a boy band version of Lily Allen.
