An even older album that's only sold a bit over a quarter of '21' despite having a comparable chart run

You're right but I don't buy some's argument that the fact that fewer people own the album is the reason why DWAH sold better than 21 this week. There is only one reason- and if XL resorted to that trick, then 30 weeks at number one wouldn't be a problem. Oh well she's only 2 weeks shy of the mark in NZ and no big release in sight!

There's threesongs in the top 10 I like (Fatboy Slim ft Rizzle Kicks, Avicii & Coldplay) and two that I don't mind (Flo Rida and Lloyd, surprisingly enough). This week's top 10 is one of the more enjoyable in the past year.

Shock at Brett liking top 10 hits!!!! :P

Pity it wasnt credited to him on the chart...could have extended his chart career to 4 decades!! :(

He was number 1 on the day I was born (as part of Beats International), so I'll always have a soft spot for his work.

Mine was Lionel Richie - Hello. OH GOD I'M OLD.

Yup, hence the lyrics 'right here, right now, ain't over till the fat boy slims' :D

Figures  It does sound a bit like it samples Footloose though (the music, not the vocals).

So happy to see this in the top 3  If this can stay top 3 next week and SHM joins it that's be fantastic.

No, it's because Bruno's album is available for a much lower price than Adele's :P

Album Discussion Here

He was number 1 on the day I was born (as part of Beats International), so I'll always have a soft spot for his work.

What do you call the 80s pop band he was in?Always forget!!

Does anyone know if MDTH does sample another song? It does sound like it does.

The banjo part sounds suspiciously similar to 'Faith' by George Michael. (I think that's the right song anyway?)

If only she'd released Abracadabra instead of Who's Laughing Now, which would have surely gone top 10, her chart history would look so much more impressive...

He's a Brighton supporter which makes him a marvellous person.

listening to it again, it does sound quite Fatboy Slim-esque :o great to see it in the top 3, really loving it atm :D

That makes sense now, that it's a Fatboy Slim production, but I didn't know before. It's the Brighton connection! Has he produced any other tracks on the Rizzle Kicks album? I'm close to buying it and that might push me into it...
