How many CDs are they likely to sell though?

Love this now - those synths!

 Tom and I were just discussing the sexy synths and the sax!

1D's single version of Ithing was top 10 last week on pre order (itunes album chart) so I doubt they've already peaked.... samne with Cher Lloyd - i'm sure in their release weeks they'll be doing some promo
Surely 1D will re-peak with a cd release on the 13th?.Should have just sent to cd to press ASAP.As for Will.i.am and artists like Emeli Sande should release as soon as the videos released, they would do much better. Not sure THE will get to no1 now cos loads have downloaded it on illegal sites!!

I suspect most who download illegally never would have bought it anyway. It's obviously going to #1 unfortunately, it was always going to. It's just inevitable.

Why is this still here? -_-

To send us to sleep

The vast majority who downloaded it on illegal sites probably wouldn't have paid for it anyway

M83 already did that for me

We've got Birdy still to come and probably climbing too :(

Fab charts, 1997 and 2002 in particular. I hope the A1 comeback can get of the ground this year, Take That aside they are the best British boyband of all time.

Had to say, I was listening to their recent stuff on Youtube and was mightily impressed. I love 'In love and I hate it' so much. Why hasn't any label saw the potential in this?

More on topic to the charts, I'm in love with Midnight city now

Good to see Skrillex climbing (even if only by one place). I have no idea why I like this song so much, everything else by him has been rubbish!
Goodness me this is extremely offensive to my ears. I'll be back when the noise ends and real music starts again.

Wish Charlene Soraia would just leave the top 40 now - it's so incredibly dull.

Shame to see Cher and One Direction falling down to the lower end of the top 40 in week 2 - although I imagine both will re-climb and re-peak on official release week, One Direction definitely will, and the release of an EP + the Astro version may benefit Lloyd greatly. Either way, I think we can safely rule them out of touching the top 10.

Really like this Skrillex track - it's more than just noise, as per his other tracks, but I think that's down to the Doors' feature. Just wish it wasn't outpeaking the incredible M83's 'Midnight City'.

Too bad they didn't the play the song, I guess they didn't want the viewers to confuse the original with this cover.

Because that's not ignorant at all...
