Oh! I'm not happy to see this having a non-number 1 status. :(

I can see Twilight only spending 3 weeks in the top 10 now. Although hopefully it'll still manage to sell 200,000.
Nice fall for Cover Drive, might just go into freefall next week

Biggest drop since X Factor finalists in Dec 2010 with "Heroes" which fell to No 7 fact fans

Oh yeah, forgot about that. That was also in week 3 though - what was the last song that debuted at #1 then fell out of the top 5 in its second week?

I don't like to see no. 1s do badly unless they're genuinely dreadful, which Twilight isn't. My bitterness about it outpeaking Wild Ones and Born To Die has faded since it'll probably be outsold by both eventually (or Lana's album by a vast amount at least) so I'd like it to get close to 300k eventually.
Appreciate that Flo Rida managed to sell more than Cover Drive this week, despite the lack of a music video and having the promotion of being #1 - both of which Cover Drive had. Didn't think it'd fall as far as #6, but it didn't deserve #1 in my opinion. Will fall to #8/9 next week and then free-fall down the chart.
So pleased this is not going to be number 1 as some people predicted 2 weeks ago.

I disagree, it looked arrogant, no matter if it wasn't meant to be arrogant ;)

Being his official 3rd single though it should be after lego house imo just!

This is my original post on the subject.....i really dont think this sounds arrogant!

Wild Things could end up at no1 eventually once radio play peaks imo a bit like the first single Good Times!

One that comes to mind was Boys and Girls by Pixie Lott, though I'm not sure that was the most recent example.

Sugababes were close to getting to #1 with Get Sexy, and if they had, they would have fallen from #1 to #8 :o

Yep, thank you for highlighting arrogantly :heehee:

I think it was The Club Is Alive by JLS? (note the word 'think' :P )

edit: oh, I'm right then

I think you're right about that. (Although if you want to be really pedantic (which I do), it got to #73 the previous week before going to #1 )

Wahey, first top 3 of lead artists from outside the UK/US since 2002, since 1999 if you exclude Westlife as well :P

Album Discussion Here

Domino is doing AMAZINGLY well considering it's the 7th single from Teenage Dream.

I thought that was before Pixie for some reason  Yeah, that would be it (and it means my note of pedantry no longer applies :()
