Lead single from their debut album which is titled 'Bajan Style'. Definetly their best single to date I think, wasn't what I was expecting though. Not so sure it sounds very hit worthy, but I am loving it quite a lot. Doesn't sound as cheap or as dated as 'Twilight' and 'Lick Ya Down'.

Huge step down from Twilight for me but I still really like it. It's just that Twilight is one of my favourite songs of the year to date!

Hmm, not AS good as Twilight but good to see another change of direction, this is shaping up very well for the album. Probably a low top 10 though, depends when they release it.

Very instant, I really like it just after the one listen. It sounds a bit like What's My Name.

Not very instant on first play (at least compared to 'Twilight'), but I suspect this will be a grower.

I do like it, it's kinda weird and not what I expected, but I can see it growing..

I think 'Twilight' is going to be their only BIG hit, but this could definitely score them a third consecutive top 10 (I mean, they had enough of a fanbase to get a #1 single).

 

Agree with the Rihanna / 'What's My Name?' comparisons - the production in the first verse sounds almost identical. I'm sure a critic or two will put them supporting Rihanna on her 'Loud' tour and the production for 'Sparks' together.

I really like this after one listen!

I can definitely hear the 'What's my Name' comparisons, but it doesn't take away from the song at all.

I really think 'Twilight' sounded more like 'What's My Name' than this does.

 

I'd say 'Twilight' is a nice catchy song (although nothing overly special), this is very plain and ordinary and 'Lick Ya Down' is terrible. This act have no identity though.

Twilight is much better, but this is rather good too.

Quite a non-entity really. Twilight's only saving grace was it's catchiness, but this song doesn't have anything going for it.

 

It'll easily be a top 5 hit though, mainly because Capital will bludgeon it to death.

In my opinion, this song is good, but much worse than Twilight and much better than Lick Ya Down. It will probably get an almost identical promotion campaign to what Lick Ya Down and Twilight got (i.e. being played once every 2 hours on Capital for 3 months), so I think it'll have success inbetween what their other two singles had. So I think maybe chart at #5.

Really liking this. I can't believe that they are getting big hits though. As much as I love 'Twilight' (definitely in my top 10 (maybe top 5) songs of the year so far), I really didn't think it'd go all the way and top the chart, even with Capital's ridiculous playing of it. Hopefully this does well for them and I am actually rather anticipating their album quite a bit now.

Yeah it's ridiculously short, feels like it could do with another verse at least. Still loving it though, I maintain that it is easily the best of their singles, the production is much less cheaper sounding than 'Twilight' and 'Lick Ya Down'.

OMG! This just got amazing! It really, quite beautifully, grew on me.

 

Still a month until it gets released though. :( Come on, I'm ready to loon over you loads, guys.

Sparks definitely is too short. I love the middle 8 and T-Ray's verses, plus the chorus is so addictive. Love the video as well, Amanda looks stunning.

 

Can't wait for this album! And i'm SO seeing them live if they do a tour. :o

Have to say loving Sparks at the moment - so much better than LYD and Twilight too....

 

Can't say i'm a fan of the video though - was expecting something a bit more moody than ride in a 4 by 4 in the sun
