Or 'Elephant' will fall rapidly because it will continue to have no airplay?

Probably a bad example but MLJ only really started getting airplay on radio 2 did it not? Could be similar to that?

Also, Paradise falls behind CB for the first time?

I was thinking this but I think MLJ had much more widespread appeal than 'Elephant' and therefore picked up radio support along the way. I get the feeling 'Elephant' will just do a "Collide".

I do too. Although it is miles better than Collide and therefore deserves to do much better.

415. Pixie Lott - What Do You Take Me For

56. Katy Perry - The One That Got Away

113. Katy Perry - Hot And Cold

133. Katy Perry - Firework

342. Katy Perry & Kanye West - E.T

409. Katy Perry - Firework

609. Katy Perry - California Gurls

994. Katy Perry - Teenage Dream

Can't believe how well 'The One That Got Away' has done. :o It'll probably cross 300K soon and it only peaked at #18 and was a SIXTH single. :o It's already sold more than some #1's from last year.

Ugh, the Nicki song is all types of horrible. Thank god Gotye and Fun. (US) are fending it off.

Does anyone know when "Ai Se Eu Te Pego" is released in the UK? I'm really enjoying the alternative music creeping through into mainstream music. As long as it gets rid of the "party all night, sleep all day/LMFAO/Rihanna" music, i'm enjoying it.

I hope Marina has a hit with "PrimaDonna". I'm in love

It's been out for ages. Currently #229 and it's normally inside the top 300 or just outside so has probably sold quite a bit without charting yet.

 16. I Won't Give Up - Jason Mraz

Overtaken Taio Cruz, looks like Hangover won't be getting near the top 10 this week then. I'm sure it'll get there eventually though.

 24. Greyhound - Swedish House Mafia

 97. Paddling Out - Miike Snow

:D Hope this can keep climbing for a while to come.

I think 'Elephant' is a far better track as a whole but I prefer the vocal on 'Collide'. But then I think 'Collide' was always pushed as a belting club smash rather than just a club smash if that makes sense. :P

Just talking about 'Collide' makes me miss Leona. :(

Does anyone actually know why Alex is not getting played by the radio?

Radio 1 have a petty vendetta against her because her music is apparently "cookie-cutter pop" (yet they seem to think Pixie Lott and JLS make ground-breaking music) and Capital probably just don't like the song. They supported her up until now.

No i know. what i meant was i think they have very little impact, like people in the us buy more physicals. correct me if imn wrong.:)

I was sure the US was very download heavy. (Don't quote me on that though!)

Florence- Never let me go up to 194. NLNL didn't feature at all until she performed on Jonathon Ross.

Good sign, hope its a hit.

sorry dude.. i just heard it somewhere that itunes wasnt as heavy downloaded in US with albums. Never mind
Now Playing on BBC Radio 1: Alexandra Burke featuring Erick Morillo 'Elephant' - at last! Hopefully it may be a hint of them playlisting it tomorrow.
I turned on radio 1 and All i could hear was 'YOU WANNA TALK U WANNA TALK ABOUT IT, THERES AN ELEPHANT IN THE ROOOOOOM' , really hope they playlist it !!
