I tend to hold it like that when I have it on speaker. I think it's more to do with the sound crew being able to pick up the sound better like Theo said than personal preferences.

Something lovely happened tonight. Unfortunately something terrible happened along with it. That might be the most hard-hitting double firing I've seen. :( My favourite candidate and least favourite gone in one.

NICK2WIN now. It's really the only option.

I can see why Gabrielle was fired... but why so mean Lord Sugs? :snif:

stephen being gone doesn't make up for gabrielle being gone. :( she could have been so much better if she wasn't being dragged around by stephen throughout the task. not to mention with the other team having tom and nick once again, they were doomed.

my ranking now:

01: ricky

02: nick

03: tom

04: jade

05: adam

jade surely won't make it to the final, I bet that if her team had lost she would have been out on her ear.

The firing of Stephen was one of the best moments in The Apprentice ever! I was a little sad about Gabriella going, but Lord Sugar, Nick and Karren all made valid points about her having already peaked.

I can only see Nick winning now; Tom has been far too inconsistent in the past three tasks, after what seemed like an indestructible run. Ricky and Jade have lost too many times for them to be considered, leaving Adam as the only other viable option (as dire as he is), as Lord Sugar "sees himself in him".

01. Nick

02. Tom

03. Ricky

04. Jade

05. Adam

At the final it's the best business plan. Last year in the final, Tom was probably the worst task performance wise of the candidates, but he had the best business plan, which is why he won. I guess the tasks this year have been a bit more business orientated, but at the end of the day if Nick had a shocking business plan there's no way Lord Sugar would make him the winner.

Honestly thought we were in for a triple firing at one stage!

I too believed that we were looking at a triple firing. Thank f*** Stephen and Gabrielle have gone. Gabrielle was terrible and whiny. Not an awful lot of positive came from her and Stephen, well you just need to listen to him and it's pretty self explanatory. :puke:

Tom has definitely not been focused for about 3 weeks or so now, however I do believe that he will start to find himself a bit more now and will still win this. Nick seems TOO obvious to be the winner. (He's another Helen - except without the record breaking victories). Ricky is decent, but I do think he has some disadvantages going against him. Jade is a terrible PM, but she's good/decent enough when she's not. She should have gone both times she was PM, imo. Adam is rubbish too. I haven't seen him do anything majorly impressive except for take the ack seat in decisions and only really come forward for the selling side of things. He's boring.

My top 5:

01. Tom

02. Nick

03. Ricky

04. Jade

05. Adam

Ending prediction:

01. Tom

02. Nick

03. Adam

04. Ricky

05. Jade

Gabrielle follows me on Twitter! :D

me too! :D that tweet I sent you that also got sent to her may be why haha.

Gabrielle was f***ing useless, I'm glad she is gone..

As for Top 5 Rankings.. Probably something like this:

01. Ricky Martin (lol)

02. Nick

03. Jade

04. Tom

05. Adam

The top two are the only two I really give a f*** for - This season was dreadful..

I decided to watch this on Wednesday night not really knowing much about the contestants/previous performances in the tasks.

For me, Adam definitely deserved to go. As a project manager, he lacked ideas and drive. One of either Nick or Jade suggested something and he was thinking "yeah, we'll do that". No wonder it all collapsed, despite their shop looking quite interesting.

I still don't know where the whole barman idea fitted in. There hadn't been any mention of "ohh, let's have a barman in our confectionary store". I did like the idea of Drunken Jellies though. :D Sadly, Adam's inability to be forceful and stick to one idea and follow it to the end was what damaged their chances of success.

On the other hand, I thought Ricky and Tom did a good job going down the men's cosmetics route. Clearly it's something to two lads are interested in, and they really understood the brief. Indeed like Nick said, their shop looked like a closing down sale. :D However, their products did look quite classy, only the choice of grey as the main packaging colour was their let down. A dark blue, or metallic blue may have worked better?

However, all this is irrelevant when it comes down to who wins The Apprentice, as proved last year. I haven't a clue who is going to win. Sadly, it doesn't matter anymore if there's a standout contender from week 3. They usually always fail in the final.

Yeah, anything can happen in the final now, even if they are the worst candidate out of the 4, they still have a major chance of winning if they have the best business plan at the end of the day.

Aw, I really liked Jade (as a person) - I did think her business proposal was fairly weak/uninspired.

I quite liked Nick's idea, but it was clear that Ricky was the favourite and it was well deserved as he performed strongly throughout the process, knew his business plan very well.

Tom :( I so wanted him to win (Just because he is pretty).

On a serious note, Ricky seemed the most sensible choice.

Nick, what was that? He was my favourite but that business idea was never gonna work. Jade was just AWFUL (had to be said, what the hell was THAT idea?) and I had thought Ricky would edge it in the final, so it worked out how I expected it.

I'm fairly pleased with that outcome, Ricky seems very sensible and a good investment to put money into.
