April 13, 201214 yr In other news, how the bloody hell is Adele on course for ANOTHER week at number one? I know it sounds ridicolous but I think she has actually been quite unlucky in the UK. All those weeks at number 2. I mean, 22 weeks at number one is patethic compared to what the Album did in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Netherlands and even the US. Especially because this is her home country. All this relatively speaking, of course (I knows she has done amazingly).

Guess it's a good present for mother's birthdays though. Someone mentioned to me the other day that '21' is the most frequently 'forgotten' CD left in rented cars - so if you take that by its tangent - people'd have to buy another copy to replace the one they left.

Hoping by some miracle that Nicki Minaj can pull ahead before Sunday - though I'd love to see Jessie J finally grab the #1 spot, or have Emeli Sande reclaim #1.

I dont. 21 isnt really harming anyone, its just selling well still. There are other albums out there, and they are being purchased too, like for example Emeli & Lana are doing very well and probably will sell 1,000,000 by end of year just to name two. I for one love to see such huge success in an industry which is so damaged by illegal downloading which majority of households take part in. April 13, 201214 yr Unfortunately :( However, the album is very disappointing and the only 3 songs that I genuinely like off it are 'Bones' 'Im getting ready' and 'Home Again'.
