Cover Drive probably looking at a #4 debut, I can't see them getting ahead of Carly or fun. and if they do they'll fall behind again by Sunday. Still, #4 is infinitely better than I was expecting yesterday :D Tulisa definitely has #1 in the bag, good to see - Rita should do the same next week, especially as Carly's sales will have been eroded even further (she's decreasing now).

Sub Focus hasn't made too much progress since he went top 40 at 3pm, but he should continue to climb a bit more tomorrow, could maybe challenge for top 30. Similar for Flux Pavilion, should continue to climb tomorrow and still go top 40 on Sunday (similar success to 'Natural Disaster' perhaps).

35. Higher Love - James Vincent Mc Morrow :D

I'm glad that Tulisa is #1, I seriously hope her career chart-wise can be better than Dappy's...

What, a 320K selling #1 and a #2 single that - admittedly very poor but still nothing to be ashamed of- sold over 130K?

I hope Tulisa can stay 2 weeks at #1. Do the Britains Got Talent live shows start next Sunday?
The BGT semi-finals are usually during the half-term holidays aren't they?

Actually yes they do. BGT started earlier than normal this year so live shows are earlier.

Normally, but because the show was bought forward to coincide with the voice, the 45 acts through to the lives is announced on next Saturdays show and the live shows start on the Sunday (6 May) :)

I'm still going to predict the next big #1 will be 'Dance Again' by Jennifer Lopez. Wishful thinking but it's such a brilliant pop song.

I hope it's brought forward a week otherwise it goes up against The Wanted who will probably get there instead (and rapidly fall out of the top 40 again within 6 weeks).

I'm pretty sure both of The Wanted's #1s spent much longer than 6 weeks in the top 40, and they both ended up the top 40 best-selling songs of the year.

You Da One missed the top 15, then Talk That Talk went to #25 so I can't see a FOURTH single making #1 for Rihanna.

Yeah, Rihanna has never been able to get a #1 with a post-album single. All her #1s are songs released before the album (apart from What's My Name?, but that is just truly a masterpiece). So I don't think this one will do it either. It might end up being a massive-selling #3 like S&M was.

Tulisa continues the pattern of solo singers becoming bigger than the groups they were from (Justin, Beyonce)....

The same also applies to Dappy.

If Fazer does a solo album and his lead single goes to #1 that'd just be weird - all three members of N-Dubz would have a solo #1 on their first attempt, but together they never got higher than #5.

Lana Del Rey - "Blue Jeans" to #32.

This should see a top 40 placement next week if it keep increasings or stays stable

I hope NDubz reform :( I seriously miss them, but I can't see it happening, especially with Tulisa being huge recently.

I really can't see it happening either. THE DRAMA. They said they're over forever now, but I don't know if they mean that really.

They should've just stayed together the whole time. They would've got so many #1s if they released two singles during X Factor season last year, and then a couple more since then.

Say whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Be gone, ghetto one.

I do like Tulisa though, and the song is good so i'm glad for her to be number 1 now. :)

I agree that they should've stayed together. Think of the NDublets!!! :drama:

I can see them reforming when/if they fade out individually but they'll never be as successful as they have been.

Oh well, for now its Tulisa for #1 :cheer:

I hope Lana Del Ray can go and stay top 40 with blue jeans next sunday. Does Tulisa's part on the Collective's Teardrop count as her first solo outing?
Great to see Oleta Adams back on the chart with get here(thanks to the Voice) i hope it can keep climbing, likewise great to see James Vincent McMorrow back on the chart.
