Baffled by the under performance of these 3 :o Being generic never stopped them before!

The Kylie track was the best of the three by some margin for me. You can get away with being generic when the genre you choose is actually popular at the moment, the problem seems to be that generic pop seems to be back on it's way out again.

What's happening with female superstars in the UK?

People are FINALLY getting over this generic dance-pop music!! :cheer:

Thanks Gotye.

Expecting to hear 30 Days next to continue the underperformance of songs.
What did the twat that is Reg say about Loreen then?

He played a bit of the live Eurovision version, and he was all "it sounds a bit naff to begin with", then he started acting all retarded once the beat kicked in.

In my opinion:

TimeBomb>>>>>Let It Go>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dance Again

To put it more accurately...

10 TimeBomb

6.5 Dance Again

6 Let it Go

Well, true I guess (I do love Let It Go though). Wonder what generic music it will be replaced by?

Sigh. The man does have cloth ears though.

God, this chart show is like a 'flop of the pops' rundown  Four in a row now!

My lord, all of these underperforming/freefalling songs

The public don't seem to like buying new music. Let's just stick with Starships and STIUTK!! -eye roll-

30 days being less than how long the song will stay in the top 40 :P

Wow four flops in a row!

Just goes to show the public are bored of the generic female club banger. All four need to step up their game with the next single, strangely I think The Saturdays habve the best chance out of Alexandra, Jennifer, Kylie and themselves with their next single.

The Saturdays won't even spend 30 days in the Top 40. *Couldn't resist*. At least it went Top 10 though.

I'm wondering this aswell. It's quite exciting really to see what happens. Juding by the success of Rolling in the Deep, Somebody That I Used to Know and We Are Young, I think alternative-styled music will get more popular.

It's nowhere near as bad as last year to be fair. Last year I remember one week where there were 8 dance songs in the top 10, and there was another week where it took us to like #33 before we got a non-dance song or something. :drama:

You're becoming slowly the new vidcapper by hating the dance genre :P

Bit annoyed at how many songs are underperforming recently, while the top 10 pretty much remains the exact same EVERY WEEK.

Songs like Call Me Maybe, Somebody That I Used To Know, Next To Me, Mama Do The Hump, We Are Young, Starships, Titanium, Good Feeling, Wild Ones, Moves Like Jagger, We Found Love, Domino etc spend 10+ weeks in the top 10 while much newer, fresher material always seems to flop or underperform majorly. Radio only hammer the top ten, and the top ten is always the same because of radio hammering them. :/
