P!nk has Alan Carr tonight so i'm pretty surr she won't fall as fast as people will think. Plus her album is out on Monday so she could potentially climb next week.

I know, actually I should've quoted Matthew, but it's too late now

Oh right, sorry about that.

And that Leona video is really good!!

PSY is #2 on US iTunes now, but he's about to knock Clique off #1.

Just looked at i-Tunes The Script look like well in front, I wonder if they end up doing the double.

They won't overtake The xx in the albums but they should do a single :P

'She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)' finally shifted itself that last place into the top 10 (and now  to #8) :D 'Clique' still as high as #16, I definitely expect it to start falling tonight though.

PSY up to #26. It is just a bad LMFAO song but I'm willing to support its domination for 2 reasons - 1) for national diversity and 2) for the video which is amazing. The pre-chorus part is rather good as well. Unbelievable that it's heading for #1 in the USA.

It is just a bad LMFAO song

So, an LMFAO song?

Go Gangnam Style! :cheer:

I'm obsessed with this song right now!

They also both have amazing music videos. Party Rock Anthem was probably the most iconic in recent years, but I think Gangnam Style might out-iconize(?) it tbh.

Bad LMFAO songs tend to be LMFAO songs, yes.

 99. Star Girl - McFly

The last ever McFlyday on Radio 1 (unless Nick Grimshaw continues it which is doubtful).

Good to see You'll never walk alone by Gerry & the Pacemakers now at no. 27 (although under tragic circumstances).

And also at no. 885 and no. 1017 in iTunes latest update.

Tulisa is definatley not going top 10 offically or on iTunes.

Amelia was still No.1 offically according to Digital Spy's Friday update this morning.

Can I just add that I would have liked it if Chris Moyles released his farewell song that closed his final show today on iTunes. That would be intresting!

He has a new album coming out hasn't he?

You are clearly unable to see that this site has a chart update as well.

Ahh, I was wondering why 'Star Girl' appeared twice on the iTunes top 200 just now so you've answered my first question.

On another note, is anyone else having trouble listening to previews of certain tracks on iTunes? It won't allow me to listen to the previews for 'Gangnam Style' and 'Avalon' so wondered if this is happening with anyone else?

McFlyday was great about 2 years ago but is just stale now.
Why is You'll Never Walk Alone back in the top 40? What "tragic circumstances" have happened? I've just wiki'd Gerry and he isn't dead. Is this something to do with the Liverpool Football Fans Disaster?

I think you need to read the definition of "iconic".

Because it's the anniversary and papers that shed new light on the circumstances in which the fans died have come to light - I assume news channels etc. are playing it during coverage?

Okay then, well there've been no music videos in the past few years that are truly iconic!

Party Rock Anthem so far has definitely been most people's favourites though. It's simple, charming and funny, and not try-hard and desperate like a lot of other music videos were around that time, which is why I think everybody likes it so much. It'll be remembered for decades.

I don't even like the song very much, but the music video is perfect. I bet they had no idea it would be so popular when they made it.

The Independent Report on the tragedy was released on Thursday and got wide coverage in all the newspapers and BBC and SKY television. Fans sung You'll never walk alone outside the cathedral and this was shown several times on SKY News. Hence the renewed interest in this track.
