Love You Know My Name. Wasn't impressed with Another Way To Die when I first heard it but really liked it after seeing the film. Of course, Tomorrow Never Dies remains my favourite theme. Not heard Skyfall yet. Not sure I want to. I'm not an Adele fan and I just know I'll be disappointed thanks to people overpraising it beforehand
According to twitter Taylor sang "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" at X Factor.
Why is there no love for Madonna's 'Die Another Day'?! It's seriously the best Bond theme. Still sounds so good, to this day!!
oh mao. *quote* going x factor tomoz y'all hope taylor ain't there i hate that song.......,. x

Delighted with this! It should easily get another couple of weeks top 10 and hopefully become her biggest selling single aswell!

13. Nicki Minaj - Va Va Voom (Don't think this will get top 15, it's released tomorrow and by the time the music video is out, there should be no effect. Gutted, easily one of my favourite Nicki songs)

16. Taylor Swift - Red (I wonder if this will go top 20 come Sunday? It didin't really have any effect from the top 10)

25. Jason Mraz - (This should miss the top 10 come Sunday now)

35. Adele - I Can't Make You Love Me

38. Cheryl - Under The Sun (Underperformed from an album that's also underperformed, final week top 40 though!)

42. Maroon 5 - One More Night

55. Chris Brown - Don't Judge Me

67. Swedish House Mafia - Save The World

I really didn't know many of the Bond themes at all before now, but I am really enjoying the gloriousness of Garbage's The World Is Not Enough - sounds up to date now, the perfect way to do something leftfield yet still be a Bond theme - but Skyfall is running it close. I hope the former benefits fairly well.
Please please please get the #1 on Sunday Adele!

Even at the rate she's selling, she won't be overcome RiRi's 5 day headstart.

I expect it will be #1 Rihanna 120k, #2 Adele 100k and #3 1D 75k?

I'd guess : #1 Ri 120k, #2 OD 100k, Adele #3 95k, #4 PSY 90k, #5 Ellie 70k

I'd be ROFLMAO if Adele pushed OD down into 3rd, though! :)

The entire top 4 selling over or near 100k must be unprecedented in a non-Christmas week.

I wouldn't be surprised if OD went in at 4 tbh - both PSY and Rihanna have had a good lead on them for ages now + Adele is outselling them 5:1 (possibly more)

In the download era, at least.

In the post-Xmas week last year, the #4 sold 74k (and the #5, 66k), so those'll be the benchmarks to look out for.

I really meant the Christmas 'period', so that would include iTunes gift card week, as you refer to.

She pre-recorded the performance and I think they're showing it at a later date, Ne-Yo (bleeehhh) and Leona Lewis are on tomorrow.

Adele's lead on iTunes is fantastic. Having now heard the track (it's been uploaded to YouTube on the adelelondon channel), I think it's a lush track that just screams James Bond on first listen. Whether this will be considered a classic Bond tune in years to come is left to be seen, but it's a classy effort.

The only bit that irritates me slightly is the way Adele sings "we will stand taaalllll" in the chorus. :(

For anyone who has yet to hear 'Skyfall' below is the audio I mentioned above.

The chorus of "Skyfall" falls flat for me. The rest of it is ok.

Will probably be a middling Top 20 hit for me (on my personal chart). She can do FAR better.

Apparently

'Marilyn Monroe' by Nicki Minaj

is being performed on X Factor tonight by

Jade Ellis

!

Really hoping it might go top 40 [preferably top 10] after her performance because this soooo needs to be a single!

Full rumoured songlist...

Ella Henderson:- Born to Try by Delta Goodrem

Jade Ellis:- Marilyn Monroe by Nicki Minaj

Lucy Spraggan:- Pumped up Kicks by Foster The People

Kye Sones:- Black and Gold by Sam Sparro

Melanie Masson:- I heard it through the grape Vine - Tina Turner

Carolynne Poole:- Mr Know it all- Kelly Clarkson

Rylan Clark:- Cascada- Evacuate the Dancefloor

Jahmene Douglas:- Jessie J - Big White Room

James Arthur:- Teardrop/Dry your eyes mate Mash up - Massive Attack vs The Streets.

GMD3:- Simply Amazing by Trey Songz

MK1:- Run this town:- Jay Z, Kanye West and Rihanna

Union J:- Lights by Ellie Goulding

Loving the look of that songlist, especially

Jade, Carolynne & Union J

.

Do you know if Taylor Swift is 'releasing' another promo single on UK iTunes next week?

She is and this one is meant to contain some 'dubstep'.

Anyone know why "Pumped Up Kicks" is at no.83?

Apparently it's being performed on X Factor tonight

but that can't be why?
