I'm looking forward to the new 59p batch tonight, I'm hoping We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Call Me Maybe, Good Time may be included in it! Maybe even One Direction - Live While We're Young.

One Direction need to stop climbing, the song is really bland and I really don't understand why they feel the need to try and sound like Ed Sheeran just because he wrote the song :puke2:

On a brighter note, I'm really happy that 'A Thousand Years' looks like it could get a new peak!

No surprise seeing One Direction doing so well at the moment. That said, it's highly likely be very frontloaded though. I can't imagine many people outside their fanbase really like the song.
Apparently Something New is out on Friday, instead of Sunday. Anyone know if this is true?

Apparently so, you can download it after they perform, so it should make a reasonable entry on Sunday, most likely top 20/30. Also they are performing on Strictly so they should have a head start on Olly. I feel confident they can take the #1 spot, with the promotion this weekend. Strictly seems to be having the higher audience over X Factor.

Expected fast start for 'Little Things' but it's going to be extremely frontloaded, probably even more so than 'Live While We're Young'. Think it'll be #4 at the very highest.

Hadn't considered that Lana would have an album version around as well - hopefully she can get a fourth top 40 hit then.

All but two of the new tracks from the 're-release' of Lana's album are top 100, as tends to happen when artists insist on only releasing a new EP of material tagged onto the original album. I wish more artists would do what Ben Howard did and just release the new tracks as a standalone EP. I assume this is what Lana has done outside the UK and Ireland

55. Ride - Lana Del Rey

84. Cola - Lana Del Rey

88. Gods & Monsters - Lana Del Rey

92. American - Lana Del Rey

95. Body Electric - Lana Del Rey

99. Bel Air - Lana Del Rey

Example inching closer to the top 40 - it's really bad that I'm just praying he can get in the top FORTY now when just one release ago he was still a 'competing for #1 with every pre-album release' kind of artist :drama: Don't think I've ever seen an established artist derailing this quickly, this is even worse than Alexandra Burke.

Girls Aloud are being completely retarded and conceding the #1 to Olly/Rudimental/Alicia if they really are releasing on Friday. Could very easily see them missing the top 3 (stuck behind those three).

How can Little Things be frontloaded when it's just being cherry picked from the album?

In what way does it being cherrypicked from an album mean it won't be frontloaded?

Ha! Way to shoot yourselves in the foot. Oh dear GA. I can definitely see them failing to go number 1 now if that is true. Olly or Alicia for number 1 next week then please! Although LM will hold up better next week as they have their album out so cherry picks should help them. Rudimental will get to about #9 i reckon. It's really good though so anywhere in the top 10 would be cool for it.
Is there a source for Girls Aloud releasing on Friday? Isn't that just the date it'll get its Irish release?

Oh dear, if they're doing it just to get the CIN boost then it's a bad move still, they'd do better out of just leaving it two days and charting on a week's worth of sales, not just two days!

I think it would have been #2/3 anyway, behind Olly and probably Alicia. Hopefully Alicia gets her first #1, Girl On Fire is brilliant  I do really like Troublemaker as well so either one would be great! Best case would be Little Mix climbing but as if that's gonna happen

Surely as it is a CIN single getting the most sales not a high peak is what matters for it.

The best CD of the year, the new EP with the original =MASTERPIECE!

Now the weekend effect is over, this should begin to climb again this week! Hopefully it will be playlisted as soon as possible!

Aren't CIN singles usually released the Monday/Sunday before CIN? And the performance gives a mass effect? Why are they waiting until now anyway? It certainly wouldn't make sense for them to release AFTER Friday.
Little Mix should easily be number one this week now, their still increasing fast and now just over 5% behind Bruno Mars, Bruno's got no promo and Little Mix have some throughout the week and Children's In Need on Friday!

They also have the EP and the physical's sales, something that Bruno don't have. Fingers crossed for their 3rd #1

On the other hand they will be much more frontloaded than Bruno. It will definitely be close between the 2, both selling 50k+ more than no3, which could be Labrinth feat Emeli. B-)

Although 50k for a no7 will be decent sales lol, shows the strong competition this week!

I don't think Little Mix are that frontloaded TBH. "DNA" barely had any airplay and its pre-orders were low prior to its release. Its sales only just started to increase last night after their X Factor performance and is still increasing as I see.
