November 20, 201213 yr 1.riri 2.1D 3.subo 4.example 5. little mix that's my top 5... can't see little mix selling over 80k, can't see little mix selling over 50k.. would'nt be surprise if michael buble is in the top 5 this week.
November 20, 201213 yr took time to make a decent album She doesn't make the albums. If she took a year out, she'd just be sitting around waiting for Stargate and Ne-Yo to write her songs. I don't really see the point. Although she could at least make her albums last longer than a year. There's so many songs on her new album that I'd like to be singles, but she's probably only going to have time to do 4 of them if she puts an album out again next year. I wouldn't mind her stretching this one out for 18 months and getting 6 singles from it.
November 20, 201213 yr ^^Thats true Eric but id say she has some kind of input but they dont seem to take much effort over them and in turn people are getting bored of what i consider to be a chart legend!
November 20, 201213 yr I think Rihanna will sell 130k this week then increase next week after her X Factor performance. I think the Top 5/6 will sell over 50k each.
November 20, 201213 yr I wouldn't be surprised if SuBo ends up missing the top 10 - there hasn't been much hype for this release. Has she performed anywhere?
November 20, 201213 yr Yes. A terrible performance of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' on Children in Need. I think she's lost "it" as a singer.
November 20, 201213 yr I don't think Example is flopping, his album is doing alright on the chart. My prediction: 1. Rihanna 2. One Direction 3. Example 4. Little Mix 5. Susan Boyle (don't think she's doing well as everyone thinks)

I don't think anyone is getting bored of Rihanna. She looks like she will have her best 1st week sales in America, #1 again here, Diamonds will be #1 next week in the US, German speaking markets seem to be all over her even more than usual with this release so far. The only place she is slightly less popular these days is Australia but even then her album is/was #1 on Itunes.
November 20, 201213 yr Some figures are in. Singles: 1. Olly Murs (over 60k sold, 21k ahead of GA) 2. Girls Aloud (16k ahead of 1D) 3. One Direction Olly already sold 60k in just two days, should easily sell over 120k then. I hope he tops Cheryl's biggest opening record. Albums: 1. Rihanna 3. Little Mix (22k sold) 4. One Direction (a couple of thousand behind) top 10: Example and Susan Boyle, won't catch LM's sales. I'm not sure if it was a typo made by the OP or some serious contender I don't know of, how can the current #2 album possibly be if it's neither of RiRi, LM, 1D, SuBo or Example? November 20, 201213 yr So if Girls Aloud are 16k ahead of One Direction - is their Number 2 *fairly* safe?
November 20, 201213 yr I wouldn't say GA #2 is safe yet, if 1D overtake today and build a decent lead they could overturn 16k. They have their 1st nights of the tour on Fri and Sat, which I'm sure will garner loads of press. Impressive sales for Olly.

November 20, 201213 yr I'm not really surprised that Olly is so far ahead. Everyone on Twitter seems to be outraged, but it was a foregone conclusion when they didn't get an XF performance slot. On the other hand, for the Aloud, the sales aren't bad at all!
November 20, 201213 yr Some figures are in. Singles: 1. Olly Murs (over 60k sold, 21k ahead of GA) 2. Girls Aloud (16k ahead of 1D) 3. One Direction So: 1 Olly Murs (60k+) 2. Girls Aloud (39k+) 3. One Direction (23k+) I don't think Girls Aloud are safe just yet though. One Direction have overtaken them combined on the itunes chart (not including EP/Physicals). So if they build a decent lead, they could overtake them. I think that is unlikely though. Edited November 20, 201213 yr by Envoirment
November 20, 201213 yr ALBUMS: 1. Rihanna - 35.000 (Half of what 1D did in the first day) 2. Led Zeppelin - 28.000 3. Little Mix - 22.000
November 20, 201213 yr So rihanna will only sell around 80k - thought she wouldnt get near the 160k she got last year!!
