December 23, 201213 yr I'm not at all excited about either prospect of this year's christmas number one, and there's nothing really exciting happening anywhere else in the chart. :( Exactly. I would be more enthusiastic with such a battle, but the inevitable number 1 is awful and the alternative isn't much better. :( On a better note, I'm really starting to love Not Giving In :wub:

December 23, 201213 yr Can't wait to hear Figure 8 later too, interested to see where it'll end up. My gut instinct tells me #29 or lower. :( I hope it climbs higher in the new year. 'Anything Could Happen' has had a much better chart run than I initially thought it would.

December 23, 201213 yr They didn't click with me at first, but "Anything Could Happen" and "Figure 8" really are gems in the chart at the moment - shame Halcyon isn't performing as well as Lights did a few years back. Here's hoping the 'gift card effect' will benefit "Anything Could Happen" greatly; anyone know the difference in sales between ACH and "Starry Eyed" (to become Goulding's second highest selling single).
