Hopefully 'Lost' can sneak into the top 40 by Sunday. He needs at least one top 40 hit from his album. If it does a 'Bad Girls', I'll be pissed.

It wouldn't have stopped it from getting the No.1 spot, though. So you have the right to remain pressed :P

Friday Update Top 40 Only

33 McFly

   Seems to be spending a lot of time in the top 55 and seems to be on the rise on I Tunes once again

Looking at things Love Is Easy will spend another week top 75 as that's rising too.

Ooft. Taylor coming for her second number 2 smash!

Hopefully #1 next week. Great to see her overtaking James today though.

Bon Jovi at #24, so it's not going to remain Top 25. :( They should have released a physical this week too! One of the rare examples of a song reaching the Top 10 on iTunes but not reaching the Top 20 on the official chart.

I wonder if MW or OZAP will mention how many Bowie sold this week, so at least we'll know where it could have charted?

Pressed? What does pressed mean?

I don't think it would be possible though. If it doesn't chart then would mean that i-tunes couldn't deliver the "eligible" sales so whatever figure we might get from MW/Ozap would not give a breakdown of the eligible/ineligible sales, making it impossible to tell where it really would have debuted.

Not if we treat all sales as eligible...

yes but there would be little point in that!

Dunno if it's been posted already but the OCC confirm that James Arthur has sold a million now, so its sales to the end of Thursday were 32,500 at No 3

So about 40-45k for the week? 50k for Taylor Swift and 60-65k for will.i.am/Britney?

Lethal Bizzle is going to reward people who buy not a saint in his competition, so maybe the song might rise up the charts.

LMAO!!! at Lethal Bizzle though

I knew you were trouble

So glad people are getting this song, it's amazing. Shame she couldn't do just one week of promo for it over here, it could have a lot more potential for number 1 then. :( but more then happy she's taken number 2, it's had an amazing run in the top 10 of iTunes and the chart positions hadn't really reflected that till now due to the songs that had been around it having multiple versions (locked out of heaven, troublemaker, gangam style, candy)

 What a legend. He's so happy to be back in the top 40 again lol.

yes but there would be little point in that!

Why not? I thought the whole *point* of the exercise was to see where Bowie would chart if his song was eligible to chart?

It's a pretty academic exercise though, as the downloads associated with the pre-order were never going to be eligible anyway.

It would be far more interesting to know where it would have charted if the 'stand-alone' downloads which were eliglibe were seperated from the pre-orders which weren't.
