The song itself is not amazing but still rather good. And Bowie being #6 in 2013 is just quite HUH so there's that as well :P Edited January 13, 201313 yr by Bré
January 13, 201313 yr I did feel underwhelmed by "Where Are We Now?" on first listen after all of the 'hype' (not that I saw any anywhere, except for on here and it being iTunes #1). It is a proper grower though, it's really beautiful  The video is very bizarre though! Edited January 13, 201313 yr by THEO.
January 13, 201313 yr David Bowie has had some proper classics in his time that I love - but this new song doesn't impress me at all on first listen. All that hype over THIS? Have to agree! Though it's great to see him back in the Top 10 it would have been nice if it was with a decent song.
January 13, 201313 yr OK, OCC, I want all of Paradises sales added up properly now please! Seconded. If this were to happen, Paradise would be a million seller :D
January 13, 201313 yr I know I said it's meh, but it's nice to see a golden oldie getting a top 10 hit after all these years. Good going, Bowie!
January 13, 201313 yr Looks like this position is both eligible and ineligible sales...it was never gonna get number 1 officially, but I'm really glad it was allowed to chart. on the song itself, I've never really got into him as much as I should (I do really liked Life on Mars & Heroes though), this is quite a nice song, certainly sounds different from the rest of the chart, which makes it even more refreshing that it was allowed to chart. January 13, 201313 yr It's taken Tom about half an hour to do :( Big thank you to Tom! That wasn't as bad as I initially thought! Should definitely be a grower. Didn't realise Les Miserables soundtrack would appear on the album chart! Was it there on the midweeks?

January 13, 201313 yr Les Mis soundtrack not even out physical until Monday, that's number 5 on download sales alone, think it came out on Friday, not sure though
January 13, 201313 yr Ooh didn't realise the Les Miserables soundtrack was eligible for the albums chart :o If that stops Emeli from getting another week at #1 that would be great :D
January 13, 201313 yr WTF at the Les Misérables soundtrack charting, it's credited to 'Various Artists' on iTunes. Obviously not registered as that with the OCC then. IIRC it was only released on Friday, if it was released at the start of the week it could have prevented Emeli from getting yet another week :drama: Yay for Calvin getting another top 5 hit so quickly, I wasn't sure this was going to be another big hit at all.
January 13, 201313 yr Big thank you to Tom! No problem :D We really didn't see it coming. But a legend like Bowie deserves it
January 13, 201313 yr 44 years between Bowie's first top 10 and his latest... It must be a longevity record for someone who's still alive...
January 13, 201313 yr IIRC it was only released on Friday Ah, that's why it wasn't on the mids! It's really not a great week for the OCC - all this chaos with David Bowie, now a soundtrack credited as Various Artists appearing on the albums!
