Ugh. Why do we have to wait so long? Haven't they learnt from 'Skyscraper'!? Stupid. They should release this OA/OS. (Ideally in the next two weeks)
Oh for god's sake. Surely the high pre-orders mean that the song should be released soon?! :manson:
Seriously 3 months until they release it in the UK? I'm not a fan of Demi and haven't heard the song but surely it would be better to release it sooner! It'll flop anyway, she's a lot bigger in US than she is here.

 244. Demi Lovato - Heart Attack (Pre-order)

Wonder how will this would be doing On Air/On Sale, great start on pre-orders anyway!

Also,

Actually, when it comes to these held back releases they should learn from 'Call Me Maybe' and 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' (and 'We Found Love' going back to 2011).

Whilst 'WANEGBT' hasn't become a million seller, releasing the song earlier than planned allowed the song to chart whilst it grew in popularity. It had an incredible run inside the top 10 because of this. Carly Rae Jepsen went in at #1 and increased sales for 3 weeks (that rarely happens these days for a #1) and of course 'We Found Love' enjoyed a really good 6 week (albeit non consecutive but still) run at #1 and became a million seller in half the time it took 'Only Girl'.

Paramore's new single was up for pre-ordering for ages. Now (pun intended :P ) it's actually been released, where is it? Had it been released a few weeks back it might've achieved what Fall Out Boy/David Bowie did.

Some record labels will never learn.

It's quite funny how this is higher than Nicole Scherzinger's "Boomerang" pre order.

A BGT performance is likely considering she's a judge on the US X Factor.

Oh for god's sake :drama: Heart Attack is AMAZE (no shock for Demi) and could easily do a We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together had they learnt from Skyscraper's #32 flop (should have been #1 for at least 3 weeks, one of my favourite songs of all time )!

It would be so amazing to have her and Bridgit Mendler (out on Sunday) at the same time doing well, but NOOOO :(

You people overestimate how big Demi is. Unbroken bombing in at #45 doesn't exactly make her sound like she's on a par with Taylor, to me.

Re: Demi; it would depend on the quality of the song and whether radio supported it. It's all well and good mentioning WANEGBT and CMM, but they were played constantly on the radio so were bound to hang around a long time. The two were also incredibly catchy so were always bound to do quite well, regardless of release probably. I haven't heard the song so I can't really judge, but Demi Lovato doesn't have a name in the UK so OA/OS could backfire. Sometimes it does work, but other times it doesn't.

After listening to Heart Attack again, i seriously don't see ANY redeeming features. WANEGBT did well because it was an easily accessible pop song with strong/memorable hooks, but Heart Attack doesn't have anything going for it

Taylor Swift has been a household name since at least 2009, so it's not too shocking how well We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together did. Demi Lovato is well-known in the UK but not to Taylor's levels.
