30 copies ahead *.* :o its not really a massive gap is it
Read it again...
Woah, they finally get their #1 and it looks to be in quite some style :o Good for them, I hope their career can get a second wind and carry on for a few more years now because it feels like it's been on a bit of a decline over the past 18 months.
I hope this continues. I do hope they don't decide to throw in the towel now that they "finally" have their number 1 (I fear that's why they haven't been dropped/split yet - because they haven't had their number 1 - had 'Forever Is Over' or 'Missing You' been their number 1 I can't help but think we would have been saying goodbye to them after 'My Heart Takes Over' performed disastrously). It should motivate them more to keep releasing and strive for bigger and continued success!

Record companies are businesses though, not charities. :P They wouldn't keep an act on for that reason.

I was very surprised they didn't get the chop after On Your Radar, but fair play to them. Now let's just wait for them to screw this up with a disastrous decision with their next release as per usual...

I'm actually surprisingly pleased for them.

They are painfully desperate but there have been far worse number ones this year alone (yes Will.i.am, I'm looking at you).

Their second releases are generally more well-received though - 'Up', 'Ego', 'Higher' and 'All Fired Up' are viewed as their best four singles while 'If This Is Love', 'Forever Is Over', 'Missing You' and ''Notorious' all have a lot of detractors.

This is their 2nd release.

Not it's not. It's their first.

I can't blame him for wanting to forget '30 Days' ever happened. I wish I could.

WOW! Can't believe they sold 30k in two days - thats almost the same 30 Days and Notorious sold in the whole week.

I don't think its a second release - 30 Days is not seen as a 'this era' track.

I think the record company kept them after Wordshaker due to the single sales of Ego etc. and as far as OYR is concerned - the label was to blame for going OA/OS with Notorious and Frankie's depression meant the promotion was impaired, so they were probably given a last chance, they sell singles well (exception the last two).

I think Scene is the one "forgetting" '30 Days', Marina is saying that '30 Days' was the lead single.

They have sold (way) more than 30k. They're 30k AHEAD of number 2 :P

what are you saying about? you mean theyve sold MORE than 30,000 units already?!!!!!!!!

I'm not "forgetting" '30 Days' - I'm fully aware of its existence unfortunately. But regardless of whether it's tacked on as a bonus track on their album or not, it's not really part of this album campaign.

Unlike Leona and her situation with releasing 'Collide' a year before her album and 'Trouble', '30 Days' seemed to always be nothing more than a stand-alone single.

Wonders what the discussion if "30 Days" and "WAU" are from the same era hast got to do with sundays chart
