8  (from 4) The Saturdays Feat. Sean Paul - What About Us [P]

Sean Paul

2002 32 Gimme The Light -1-

2003 16 Make It Clap (Busta Rhymes Feat. Sean Paul & Spliff Star)

I don't think Sean Paul was credited on the charts for "Make It Clap" - it was just Busta Rhymes fearturing Spliff Star

Hearing this Little Mix song for the first time tonight. It's not bad but Change Your Life is much more preferable.

It's obvious that they're only playing the song because they won't be playing Ding Dong and they need to make up time

'How You Doin' is possibly the most dates sounding song I've heard in a long time.

Half the chart sounds like it comes from the 90s (or in the case of some songs, actually DO come from the 90s), 2013 has been one huge 90s love-in so far (and I'm all for it!)

It has been said that 'retro' is 2 decades behind the current (80s were in during the 00s e.g.) so I am chuffed the 90s are 'in' now as I loved them so much!

'How Ya Doing' is not bad but Little Mix have too samey style to Stooshe, I always mix them up!

Yes, Ben posted that on the last page.

It's not a cover, it just samples the same song (Name and Number.)

What is it with girlbands trying to constantly sound retro and old school? Stooshe and Little Mix are the worst for it.

I agree, but others seem to be an ode more than a direct copy of a backing track. It sounds like it was a forgotten song from 1993 and has randomly got released. The verses especially.

:o

Always annoys me when they play entire songs that aren't in the chart but on first listen, 'How Ya Doin'?' is good, a huge improvement over 'Change Your Life'. I hope it does do an 'Animal' and go top 10.

Eek at the drop for 'Mirrors' but still should remain top 10 for a few weeks yet.
