Demi wouldn't dare touch anyone with such blinded taste :smoke:

I believe Demi has a song called 'Really Don't Care'. :drink:

:o

Yay, fake versions making headway again :D (holding out some kind of hope they'll eventually push the release forward (to give John Newman a better chance of #1~) even though they probably won't)

I Love It really should've been released a week or two ago, so it could have got there in between Get Lucky and La La La.
I actually think John Newman would go to #1 ahead of Icona Pop if the release dates stay the same, but Icona Pop would stay in the top 10 for longer. Both would sell over 100,000 easily I think though, especially considering both of their pre-orders are inside the top 100 on the albums chart already! :o Sebastian Ingrosso's 'Reload' should also sell a lot too that week, possibly a whole new top 3! The Saturdays are really going to be overshadowed I think.

That can't be a bad thing, surely. :kink:

I do like 'Gentleman' but it is their weakest single of all in my opinion. I hope it still goes top 10 though!

And look who is on the pop chart:

And here is the amazing video that was released today for this fantastic song:

The video is nice. I like the chorus, but the verses are kinda boring.

I love this song, but I'm not sure how well it will do because Brand New Me didn't chart very high. I hope she releases 50 Cent's version as a "remix".

 I think it will do better. Radio 1 never playlisted "Brand New Me". It got to B-list on BBC Radio 2, but that helped out the album more so. Plus, I'm sure Alicia will come over to promote it a bit. A 59p reduction would be a good move though.

Maybe. The beat to New Day is reminiscent of Empire State of Mind with all those drums and the piano chords. I wonder why she's not releasing it in the US.

Radio 1 actually had 'Brand New Me' on the C-list for a decent length.

Simon Cowell doesn't like this song , Maverick Sabre must have been pissed while watching Britain's Got Talent

Really? :o What did he say about it? :(

I remember him dissing a song on X Factor a few years ago, but I can't recall what it was now.

Has this even left #20 at all this week?

I have no clue what they are doing in the US. Their release stratergy has been messy there. However, "Fire We Make" is doing really well on UAC and is rising on Urban. It will hopefully cross over to Rhythmic and become a good-sized hit. I think they should have released "New Day" to pop rather than "Tears Always Win". I love both songs though.

Really? Oh my. I think "New Day" is a better single though, so hopefully it can at least outpeak "Brand New Me". The video seems to be having a better effect on its itunes position than the video for "Brand New Me", so hopefully that's a sign.

They did this with her previous album too. The US got Un-Thinkable as 3rd single, and Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart as 2nd single and didn't get Empire State of Mind Part II at all. It's a shame, as I think Un-Thinkable is a beautiful song, and could've been a top 10 hit here imo, as she was really popular at the time (although I think they stopped promoting the album because Alicia was heavily pregnant by single #3 ).

But I don't understand the reasoning behind all of this. And it annoys me how a lot of artists I like seem to want to put out 3 singles at once for some reason. It usually just means everything flops lol.

I think it was With Every Heartbeat.

And the more there are, the costlier it'll be for Icona Pop's record company to take them all down - so maybe they'll be persuaded to cut the legal costs and release ahead of schedule...

Robin Thicke and Pharrell performing on Graham Norton show next Friday :D that's the #1 in the bag for a second week.
I think it was With Every Heartbeat.

Yes it was Robyn's With Every Heartbeat he dissed a few years ago, but what does he know? It's a million times better than Daniel Beddingfield's If Your Not The one is, if the rumors are true that's one of his favorite songs ever?

 79. Right Place Right Time - Olly Murs

A second version of 'Blurred Lines' has materialised at #93, from a compilation I assume.

Why are you so concerned about him not liking a song that you like?
