YAAAAAY at Disclosure getting the #1 album :cheer: Hopefully with at least 30k sales. (Hai Danny :kink:)

 at Olly getting top 5 ahead of Union J as well! Oops at Union J being beaten by a much older XF act with a post-album single :P

I honestly don't even think #6 is that bad - it's not ideal, but I think it's silly to compare their success to JLS and One Direction. Union J came 4th, failed to make the final, and were bottom 2 on three occasions. People are only making the comparisons because they're an X Factor boyband - but in perspective, a top 10 is very good them. It's not ideal, and Top 5 would've looked better, but it's only a place.

I'd say #6 is just momentarily prolonging the inevitable for them. Having just listened to the track, it's absolutely terrible and they don't appear to have a management team who care enough about the whole project to get past the initial couple of singles - if we must have to endure reality tv stars, at least make a bit of an effort with the music you produce for the acts!

Prediction Thread Here

CAN THIS SONG DIE PLEASE.

And Union J need to pick a killer song for single #2. Even as a mahoosive fan of them on the show, i got tired of Carry You fairly quickly. If they can get the right material for the follow-up there's no reason why they can't smash with it. And comparing them to Olly is a little silly seeing as Union J weren't even THAT popular on the show and Olly has pretty much established himself as a chart force to be reckoned with.

Nice song but I'm surprised by its overall popularity.

Album Discussion Here

Union J's song is better than the songs above it ;__; deserved #1 tbh.

Great top 3 yet again.

Get Lucky is still as catchy and awesome as ever!

Oh, I do agree, they probably don't have much of a future, but I don't think it makes them huge flops. They finished in the same place as Misha B, in a series that was watched by a much smaller audience - and have got a better first single peak. They're only being labelled as 'flops' and underachievers in such a way, because they're following in the footsteps of two past big X Factor boybands - but the reality is those two did better in more popular series. It's still obvious they won't last past the first album though.

Get Lucky 8 weeks in the top 3!
I didn't expect Union J's single to do very well anyway so it's no surprise to see them at #6.
Still hate Get Lucky, and will never ever ever understand how it's done so unbelievably well, or why it's so overtly popular. It's just monotonous and drab.
I really want something else to come along that I love as much as Get Lucky as it feels like time to move on... but it's just not happening!
