Can someone explain how Ke$ha has stuck around in the Top 40 with Crazy Kids for so long? I like the song, but I am shocked that it's even spent one week in the Top 40, I thought it would flop harder than "C'mon".

 

It hasn't been playlisted by Radio 1 or Capital, it's not being used in an advert, or talent show or anything, it hasn't had THAT much TV airplay... Where is the support coming from?!

The remix is a single that Ellie seems to have released today and the non-remix is still a pre-order scheduled for release on August 11th.

Burn could potentially have the biggest climb to #1 in the last few years thanks to this remix, hope it happens but Katy Perry might release OA/OS and if she does she'll get #1 easily.

It's quite bizarre really, I definitely feel that I've seen it a lot more on the music channels than 'C'mon', though.

Almost agree, but if Crazy Kids doing decently gets us another single off the album then all is forgiven!

It's a shame it isn't pushing the album up to the top 10 in the UK charts! (Even top 40 Goddamnit! :() It's probably one of my least favourites on the album, so I don't see why it's not selling anything if 'Crazy Kids' is doing this well. :( (Although as I keep saying my favourite from the album flopped on it's arse so WHAT DO I KNOW!?) :(

C'mon was incredibly average, Crazy Kids is only a 7.5/10 really.

 

As an album though Warrior is brilliant with tracks like Supernatural, Wherever You Are, Warrior and Out Alive, but what a disappointing era it's been singles wise (aside from Die Young which I really liked, thought it would be bigger than it was too).

"Crazy Kids" is also a slight move away from her sound, well the production certainly seems it. "C'Mon", while a great pop tune, just sounded like every other Ke$ha song. A #66 debut for 'Warrior' was disgraceful though, is she really becoming irrelevent that quickly?

Any news on the Flo Rida/Pitbull collaboration. Heard it on Italian radio yesterday, it's turd by their standards (and I was a fan of Flo Rida's last era).

It's out on the 8th of September, I will laugh so much if this goes to #1. The Big Top 40 and Radio 1 are gonna have a serious dilemma in September when this enters the chart :lol:
