August 6, 201311 yr I am so fickle with BB (and also there's NOBODY to like bar Charlie and Gina even just after this) that to be honest I'll be back loving Gina when she makes up with Charlie so ignore my overreaction  Apparenrly she got off lightly with the edit though, I don't know because I didn't see it on LF. She will not go back up above Charlie though. I think the main thing that was cut out was her and The Twins laughing and hi-fiving each other at Charlie crying and she hugged Hazel in front of Charlie on purpose or something. I was half watching but that's what I've gathered from DS. :) I'm firmly Team Charlie now. I wasn't liking her a few days ago but she's now my favourite. Edited August 6, 201311 yr by ConnorVICKERS
August 6, 201311 yr Charlie is the one housemate who I haven't thought 'ugh shut up' or facepalmed or whatever through the whole series. The worst thing she's done is put her foot in it a few times but it shows her lovely side that she immediately apologises and feels really bad.
August 6, 201311 yr Author I think the main thing that was cut out was her and The Twins laughing and hi-fiving each other at Charlie crying and she hugged Hazel in front of Charlie on purpose or something. I was half watching but that's what I've gathered from DS. :) Wow, she really is quite a sly bitch. Don't know why she keeps getting good edits, though (until now), unless it's just been arguments where I'm more in favour of her over some of the others.
August 6, 201311 yr Jack is a moron for going along and judging just because his mum said things about Charlie. Get over yourself idiot.
August 6, 201311 yr Gina most certainly wasn't in the right with what I managed to actually see from that (having to stream it but it was so laggy), but Hazel was definitely worse. I've not turned against Gina as such, she still makes me laugh and she can and probably will turn it around. Hope this will save Charlie from eviction though, not that I was convinced she'd go anyway.
August 6, 201311 yr Call me a blind fan, whatever, but I honestly don't see why Gina has got such a backlash from this. She's seen a nomination of Charlie from her boyfriend, someone who she trusts most, who has planted doubt in Gina's head. She's merely pieces together pieces of information, whether that involves Hazel or not, to try and work out why that would've been said. But she's raised a problem, been honest to Hazel, been honest to Gina - then showed compassion to Charlie. Gina was speaking to Hazel and believed some things she said, in the midst of having doubts over Charlie, HOW IS THAT HER BEING BFF'S WITH HAZEL?! She doesn't have to be bitching about her every second, they are allowed to talk without being supposed BFFs. I think they've all come across quite badly in this, Charlie included. Do I think it's bullying? No, I think it's Hazel wound up about things she's heard. I think it's Gina wound up about things she's heard. Charlie just happens to be the one who has SAID THAT STUFF. She may be being targeted but she has bitched about Hazel behind her back, Hazel is GOING to react to that. Hazel took it a bit far and got quite aggressive, but it's a kind of natural reaction to hearing your best friend has bitched about you. I think just because Charlie is the one 'on her own' in this situation, she's getting a lot of support but I don't think she's wholly innocent at all.

August 6, 201311 yr And, I'm sorry, but given this is an ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME, tonight is an advert for why Sam shouldn't win. Nice guy? Yes. But in the most exciting/drama-filled show for weeks, he wasn't even A PART. Why should someone win who isn't even a key character?

I do understand what you are saying and I do agree that Gina isnt being BFFs with Hazel, they just agreed on something for once but I definetly think both Gina and Hazel get a lot of things she says misconstrued and mixed up. She has never been malicious with what she has said, and as much as I love Gina, she has about Charlie (for instance in the diary room bitching about her fashion, calling her stupid etc. behind her back) so it just seems quite hypocritical. I may have overreacted slightly but I just think the way they handled it was totally uncalled for and I just hate seeing one person targeted like that. It is too much for anyone. I am proud of Charlie though, she handled it VERY well for the most part. I do think she is mostly just really misunderstood in all honesty! The thing I got most annoyed about was Jack with his justification for hating Charlie.
August 6, 201311 yr The twins hate on here omg  -x- I actually do take back the Gina/Hazel BFFs thing I said, I was overreacting at the time because I was a bit mad at both of them. Edited August 6, 201311 yr by Jade

I'm really all for BB showing Charlie some diary room vids of what Gina's been saying about her just to mix things up a bit. :kink: Wouldn't really be Miss Perfect that everyone makes her out to be, then...

August 6, 201311 yr That was honestly one of the most uncomfortable moments throughout the history of BB for me. Charlie is nothing but genuine so it really was horrible to see the entire house against her when, I believe, she hasn't done anything wrong. I really do see where the other housemates are coming from though as they're all paranoid and so are more likely to believe what their family/friends are telling them as they should be telling the truth! The housemates are bound to be suspicious of someone if they're apparently talking behind peoples backs. The fact that Charlie has done nothing wrong though and is such a lovely, honest and genuine person makes it really sad that they're all going against her. Literally, it could have happened to anyone else tonight and I wouldn't be as bothered. And, I'm sorry, but given this is an ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME, tonight is an advert for why Sam shouldn't win. Nice guy? Yes. But in the most exciting/drama-filled show for weeks, he wasn't even A PART. Why should someone win who isn't even a key character? I hate it when people just put 'THIS' and say nothing afterwards but it's never been as appropriate as it is now.

I am proud of Charlie though, she handled it VERY well for the most part. I do think she is mostly just really misunderstood in all honesty! The thing I got most annoyed about was Jack with his justification for hating Charlie. I don't think it was hypocritical because Gina wasn't trying to find out what was said about her - what got Gina's back up is that Charlie was described in many ways that would naturally put you off someone. If the closest person in my life told me not to trust someone, I would back off too. Why would you trust someone you've known for 7 weeks over your boyfriend who sees more than Gina? Besides, Gina only got involved telling Hazel some stuff that was said instead of lying to her. If Gina had've lied to Hazel about what was said, she'd have looked cowardly and rude... when she's always prided herself on honesty. I did feel sorry for Charlie being singled out - but 3 of the biggest characters (Hazel, Gina and The Twins) had ALL heard opinions from other sources that had led them to believe Charlie wasn't trustworthy. They don't see everything we see, and if several people are hearing about it (and there is some truth to it), they're going to turn on her. I feel sorry for her to an extent, but I do understand where Gina & Hazel are coming from too. The Twins? I get them sort of, but if all they're going to do is say 'our Mum doesn't lie', then they're not really adding anything to anything, and are thus irrelevant.
August 6, 201311 yr Do you like them then? Joe isn't bad but Jack bitching is doing my head in. I just found the hate on here amusing and everyone just immediately refers to their appearance! But anyway, I think they have their moments sometimes but on the whole they're annoying.
August 7, 201311 yr Well that was uncomfortable! I do see some of your points Robot (I would call you Rob, but the other Rob comments in here too! :P) but I really don't get where the "manipulating" and "sly" characterisations of Charlie have come from, because (I've probably been blinded by my love for her) I definitely haven't seen anything in the edits that we've seen. (If someone points them out to me, and I remember, fair enough I'll apologise) but it's really doing my head in that she's being made out to the housemates, that she's something that she's not (and everything they pointed out to her in this arguments, Charlie has already spoken to them about and "cleared the air with about before.). Then that whole campaigning stuff which got a flashback (THANK GOD THEY DID THAT!) really shows what a manipulative, game playing BITCH, Hazel is. I'm sorry but after we saw that then hearing what she was telling the other housemates... nuh-uh. Doesn't fly with me. I'm sorry. I do agree with you on Gina though. She really wasn't any different to how she normally is and at least (unlike Jack) she was able to give something extra other than "my boyfriend said it so it's true". I respect Gina for standing up for what she believes and I think she really does like Charlie, but it is all confusing for her and she had just as many emotions going through her head and being told other things by other people. I do wish people in the house would pick up on that although what Gina says is sort of true, she does have a tendency to exaggerate everything to make them a bigger deal than they are (which is why I think Cal said she's quite sly). Hazel, Dexter or the Twins to go for me. But I still have a strong feeling Charlie's going for some reason. :\
August 7, 201311 yr Oh, me personally, I don't find her manipulative or whatever, but that's what 2 of them have been told. It doesn't sound like a freak comment made by one, but two outsiders have heard them, so they're bound to believe them and see that in Charlie, hence why I don't completely oppose their actions to her.

Are people seeing different things to most of us in here or something? I'm not trying to say Charlie's a saint by the way, I'm sure there have been some stuff said in the house (that the other housemates have heard or whatever) that we've not been shown in the edits or whatever, but like with the whole Twins' mum saying that she bitches about them and she MUST have bitched about them to someone in the house and when this was live yesterday and she asked the housemates if they'd heard her bitch about the twins and ALL of them said "no". So where the hell is their mum getting it from?! :\ Joe is amazing. I love him. His comments to Charlie on the bed were lovely and were exactly what Charlie needed to hear.
August 7, 201311 yr I don't know if I can even bring myself to watch this, I hate seeing people be bullied :(. I am kind of finding Jack the worst in all of it, his smug little fat face that I just want to punch. SORRY IF MY MUM SAYS IT, ITS TRUE. Your mum also gave you a poor diet, poor manners and probably lies that you are a handsome young boy. Call me a blind fan, whatever, but I honestly don't see why Gina has got such a backlash from this. I haven't seen that episode yet but imma say that F&F can't see EVERYTHING that is going on in the house. At least HMs inside can see more than the viewers, no? Plus, it's a bit of a cop out to give a reason to hate someone just because their MUMMY SAID SO. Have a f***ing mind of your own perhaps? F&F didn't say anything like OH CHARLIES PLAYING A GAME SHES IN THE DIARY ROOM DISSING EVERYONE I CANNAE STAND THAT BITCH they just expressed their OPINIONS based on the EDITS producers gave to each HMs. Colour me confused. Gina's been honest to Gina?
August 7, 201311 yr I think the only person with a legitimate reason to grill Charlie was Hazel. Like her or not, her best friend has been going around to everyone in the house saying that she's faking emotions to win votes. I'd be LIVID if someone I trusted was saying that about me. I think it would've been better for Hazel to take Charlie to the tree house to talk it out among themselves, but she's tried that approach before and it's like talking to a brick wall so I can understand why Hazel has had enough. Gina had some reason to doubt Charlie but I don't think it was enough for her to go at her like she did, but she seems to have realized this so that's good, although her general flip-flopping is quite off-putting. I agree with Rob(ot) in that Charlie DOES say a lot of things to a lot of people. Hazel knows she's hated by an entire NATION, Gina has her fair share of haters due to silly mistakes (the safe house bitching being the biggest), Sophie is getting a hard time for saying stuff as well, so I don't know why there's such a huge pity party for Charlie. I still quite like her but this "she didn't mean to say those things. they came out all wrong!!" for a 26 year old get's old after two months.
