 6. Other Side of Love - Sean Paul

 7. Summertime Sadness (Lana Del Rey vs. Cedric Gervais) [Cedric Gervais Remix] [Radio Edit] - Lana Del Rey & Cedric Gervais

Really mystified as to how Sean Paul has done this well, I did kind of see it coming after it crept into the top 200 on pre-orders the other day but it seems the only thing it has going for it is Radio 1 support (which was itself rather bizarre as he seems so irrelevant now and even if he wasn't he's surely approaching being 'too old' for R1). Capital are yet to touch 'Other Side Of Love', although I'm sure they will now. Has it been getting huge support from TV

Not impressed, I really hate Sean Paul but he got to number 2 with She Doesn't Mind so I'm not surprised its doing well and R1's choices for the playlist never makes any sense ;) i guess they think it will appeal to their younger audience, I just hope Lana can overtake

Yeah, it's strange Sean Paul is so high, but it was a similar case with She Doesn't Mind, it debuted really high considering it wasn't on the radio much before release.
@ the Lady Gaga video  love to see what the single will do now..

I guess you're right! I didn't mind (pun kinda intended) that so much as 'She Doesn't Mind' was a really good song, this one not so much.

The Gaga video is lie a mash up of her previous 'dark' videos. Now lets see what it does to the chart position
Mel and Matt please return to the top 10 asap.

Oh, they've dropped out. Boo. Fingers crossed for This Morning then.

DJ Fresh  to number 4

I'm shocked this is doing so well, I don't really get this track but glad to see another dance track doing well

Ariadne Grande/Nathan Sykes  to 45

Very bland, so this will probably go top 40 on Sunday...

Arctic Monkeys back up to 20 which is good, just hope Naughty Boy holds on and Lana can get back up to 6 I'd rather Matt and Mel can climb back up just to stop Jay Z but I doubt it now I think its going to drop away now...

Boo at Mel & Matt dropping to #11 - Still it's about 100 places higher than I ever thought it would be! I'm sure the This Morning performance will keep it stable even if it doesn't return it to the Top 10!
#4 will almost certainly be as high as 'Earthquake' gets, if it can get #4/5 officially that would be brilliant (outpeaking 'The Power' which seemed to have a lot more hype what with it being a Dizzee collab - I think 'Earthquake' is a better song although 'The Power' spent several weeks at #1 on my personal chart at the time, it's just not stood the test of time at all :drama:) Looks like Klangkarussell could still get to #2 if they increase more today, Avicii is at 0.7476 and they're are 0.6868 currently.
I hope Matt and Mel can return-the top 10 looks quite awful without them. Although I had this feeling they'd end up 11 officially but we'll see. Charting at all means it's surpassed all expectations.

It's still at #6 on Amazon and has the 2nd version which charted in the Top 300 so that could mean the difference between #10 or #11!

Er I didn't fall for that one bit

Who would? We know she's flopped by this time. :kink:

Love that DJ Fresh is doing so well out of the NE because its not commercial at all because of the unique Diplo production so itll be good that the youngsters get to hear something different than the usual David Guetta/Harris beats!!

Earthquake needs to peak at #3 like Harlem Shake and Trampoline.

Yeah, I still can't believe The Power didn't do better. Features Dizzee, and it's the poppiest of all his singles, and was following from Hot Right Now.
