If it couldn't make it last year when the special edition was first released along with tons of promo, I doubt it will do this year. Will most likely go Top 10 though, probably Top 5.

<_<, Well... still has USA numbers

They'll sell much better at Christmas though. I just have a feeling they'll do well if they have a lot of promo coming up (I don't know if they do or not but Rod Stewart and Michael Buble had lots of promotion for their Christmas albums, perhaps helped by them being bigger names than Richard & Adam).

Tell that to Joe McElderry, iirc he opened on similar sales with his Christmas album than the album released earlier in the year ('Classic'), but because of more competition/higher overall sales peaked much lower.

Is there any sign of Leona Lewis on pre-orders at all?

I hope Dido is on itunes and id love her to make the top 10.

I am certain One Direction and Gary Barlow will hold the top 2, although i would i would love Gary to get number 1.

Forgot to make this post / change the subtitle last week whoops.

Obviously 1D will be #1 with ease this week, then it'll be Robbie vs. Gary for #2. Even though their last album had 3 weeks at #1 I can't see Boyzone even troubling the top 5 this time around after the complete failure or the lead single. Bastille should maybe re-enter the top 10.

While it is a cert One Direction are going to do well, i would really like to see Gary Barlow, Dido and the repackaged Olly Murs album all do well this week. I would be disappointed if Gary Barlow is any lower than top 2.

I think the top 5 will end up like this on Sunday.

1 One Direction.

2 Gary Barlow.

3 Robbie Williams.

4 Eminem.

5 Boyzone.

I have a feeling 1D's sales will be rather impressive this week....

Easy #1 for 1D, Gary Barlow should be Top 5 with Bastille and Boyzone Top 10. I'd love to see Dido do well but unfortunately it seems she'll do as well as Gabrielle's compilation last week. :( She has so many fantastic tracks: 'Here With Me', 'White Flag', 'Life for Rent', 'Don't Leave Home', 'No Freedom'.
Bit worrying that for Susan Boyle but she's more a CD seller with the older generation so I'd expect Top 10 this week. Her days of big sales are sadly over though.

Most Dido fans will have the first two albums and most of the tracks are from those so can't see it doing well at all.

Britney Spears 'Britney Jean' (pre order) #78

Top 10 next week?

  • Author

101. Britney Jean (Deluxe Version) - Britney Spears

155. Freedom (Deluxe) - Rebecca Ferguson

162. High Hopes - Bruce Springsteen

I wonder how well Rebecca's new album will do, she managed to do reasonably well again over Christmas with her first album last year so I don't think 'Freedom' will exactly bomb but I don't really see it doing anywhere near as well as 'Heaven'. (Such generic titles by the way :P) Suppose it depends on how well received her XF performance is.

Another #1 looks fairly certain for Bruce especially with a January release.

Leona Lewis Christmas With Love  to #81.

Should keep climbing with release of the video for "One More Sleep" & increasing airplay. :D

P.S: It rose from around #180 earlier in part due to an appearance on Daybreak.
